Doesn't matter...
This discussion is like a breast without a nipple.... pointless...

Heard that 3 players that headed off to Gaza at the end of 2010 may be returning... Not sure if this has been confirmed with signings yet ?

Well the 3 in question are all contracted. 1 has played most in the a grade, 1 has played 3 a grade, the others a great b grader. I'm doubtful the clearance will happen.
Hope no one is trying to poach contracted players? Maybe wait til the season is over before you do that. Then it's fair game.

When players approach you on their own free will I highly doubt that is poaching....... Might be good for you to find out why people want to leave ??

What's the latest on this?
Last I heard it was virtually done and dusted.
Don't they have till this week for everything to be confirmed?
I thought it was about 5 players in the end to

Got told by someone from Gaza that "should know" that this was not going to happen and that they (Gaza) were not happy about the way things unfolded.

I would imagine they wouldn't be happy turk, but in the end at no point DID WE APPROACH ANY PLAYERS FROM ANY CLUBS. These guys who were from our club originally approached us out of the blue. I think that needs to be understood. And they have obviously wanted out of Gaza for a reason which has nothing to do with us, nor do we care. That is why Gaza are probably not happy....

Not yet confirmed lads. It's up to Gaza and that's their call as to whether they release them but I know at least 1 has said they will stand out of footy if he's not cleared.

Heard a trumor during the week that there is a lot more than 3 players looking to head back in the Grove direction..player obligations may also be looked at by more clubs to see if they are actually worth the paper they are printed on.....

and for what its worth my mail is a number of players from many clubs are looking to transfer (or lodge applications) before clearances close.... maybe a case of when the going gets tough the weak want to walk????

We have 5 coming back, I think a couple have gone back to TTG so obviously reasons out at Gaza why people are leaving. But we are always happy to have our young lads back at the club.

As for the 'Player Obligations' turk, I think you are spot on mate.
