It's desparate times for more than a few teams in Hogg Division III with six sides looking to have already booked their spots in the finals this season. Pump up ze Jams have continued on with their recent good form and have now climbed out of the ruck and into seventh place on the ladder with an important victory over fellow finals aspirant Trader who must be wondering what they need to do to get a win.

In the match of the round WLF once again came off second best in an important match as they failed to end the winning run of Harrynutts. WLF looked right in it for most of the weekend but in a close shave once again the Harrynutts have proven to be too tough to crack.

The Lodgelads are another team that score well but have yet to book their finals place. On paper it was how far lodgey but come match day it was the struggling Backyarders who won the day and they can now hope to escape the relegation zone. FridayKnightFool are in all sorts of bother after they became the first side in Division III to lose to the Goonies who have been gradually improving their scoring in recent weeks. The Baby Giraffes have now won two straight matches after winning quite easily against the unpredictable BlueOwlOde combination.

Crab Mustard have bee sneaking under the radar a bit in this division but I reckon they are a really strong chance to go all the way as most teams in this Divvy can't seem to keep up with his scoring levels. And yes folks that was an almighty MOZZ. Let's hope it bloody works. ;)

hope you arent referring to the wombats with the sides booked in to play finals. the only reason they are up that high is a soft early season draw and some lucky results. i am still expecting a plummet down the ladder and will probabaly be lucky to play finals at all, based on average scores at least! also looking at the remaining games, i finish the season with cat empire, harrynuts and crab mustard all in the last three games, i reckon that right there will kill what is left of my season

Both unbeaten teams in Division III came a cropper in the first bye week with The Cat Empire failing spectacularly recording an embarrassing 1088! Harrynutts did it a little better but still not well enough to maintain his unbeaten run as THE BLOODS became the first team in Hogg history to defeat Harrynutts in his two year Hogg career.

All of the teams on six wins from last week all got up to take advantage of the top two teams stumbling. FISH cleaned up the lodgelads who went even worse than I did and crabby won a high standard match against WLF who are starting to fall off the pace. The Willies earnt themselves four points by cleaning up yours truly and the Wombats! got the job done by a hundred against The Sunny Boys.

The bottom four look pretty set to me with FridayKnightFool really struggling at the moment despite recording reasonable scores. This latest defeat against an inconsistent BlueOwlOde has sent them to the bottom of the ladder and two games behind the Sunny Boys with it all to do to avoid relegation.

Lost again, this time by 10pts.

0-3 for a combined loss of 30pts, loving life.

Back to normal, 14pt loss this round.
3-6 yet still have a % over 100. Gotta be looking at some sort of record there...

I've scored more points than 2nd placed REB, but still sit 12th with NO hope of making the finals.

I want to feel sorry for ya, but the week I've just had, losing to the bottom placed team in the Pineapple League (by 400 points), I'm too busy feeling sorry for myself.

Went from 0 donuts heading into round 11, to having 5 of them by Thursday night.

Looked at my team and pels team and realised he had the edge on me so I've taken a punt on giving Boyd captain over Ablett.

Hopefully Gazza who pels has as captain will spud it up like last week and Boyd will smash it against Port! :D

Harrynutts and The Empire have skipped away from the pack with a two game buffer after several leading teams came a cropper in the second bye week. The Willies seemed to cop the worst of it as their percentage was savaged by 478 point defeat at the hands of the ladder leaders. Pump up ze Jams meanwhile has come from the bottom four of the ladder to be in a position to challenge for the top four. All of the teams on 7-3 should be checking their fixtures to see if they have the jams on the menu because lately he's had everyone on toast. I reckon he can't miss the eight on current form.

The next slots down we have WLF trying to find his best form to hold off THE BLOODS and Trader in particular. The Lodgelads copped a nasty result when they tried to sack the Empire and BlueOwlOde copped what is probably Hollands Heros best ever performance in the Hogg in a costly loss - 2299 this week is a mighty score. Pels might yet make a go of it also this season as his recent form surge continued with the Backyarders catching TEAM FISH out.

The relegation spots look set and the top two look reasonably safe in the four so the rest of this year will be which teams and in what order will the other final eight spots go to.
