Heard it from a major sponsor and President. But you hear these things all the time.

from a mannum major sponsor and president or another club?

Would have to be Angaston, I reckon the BLG have a rule that a previous club can stop you going to another BLG club (unless your the coach) no matter how much time you are away from the league.

So unless Diddles and Pechy are Co-Coaches, it has to be Angaston.

Sounds like a dumb rule to me.[/quote]

Pretty sure they would have to get a clearance from there home club but don't know on what grounds they could hold them. Anyway that's months away from happening.

Cannot see the RMFL winning by less than 10 goals tomorrow. Best side I can remember us ever putting on the park. Could well be a clinic.

KNTFL side has lost a lot of quality from last year where they beat the RFL (especially with Smith and Dixon gone- that's 14 goals between them missing from last year) but still looks pretty good. Younger side than we usually play.

Dalwood mentioned Austin in his Standard write up - which is on line - so I presume he at least made their squad.

Don't hold me to this but the following is the team I have been told

Imperials; Davey, Harrowfield, Girdham, Quast, Smith
Ramblers: L. O' Neil, Kay, S. Pfeiffer, Thompson, Altmann, Weyland
Mypo: Robinson, Jones, Menenghetti
Mannum: Hall, Harvey, Pech
Tailem: Wark, Bowen
Jervois: Ladhams, White
Meningie: Brunoli

Looks pretty strong on paper!

Neither are in the side.

Edit- from what I recall anyway. Gibbs could possibly be an emergency.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Should be good watching.

Isn't good watching. I'm here and RMFL have dominated all day. If not for some terrible kicking for goal it would have been a massacre.

Cods too big, too quick, too well coached.

Noticed the result - 7 goal win to RMFL.

Best players - Mathew Brunoli, Craig Harvey, Daniel Girdham, Jacob Bowen, Nick Wark, Matthew Thompson....and goalkickers - Chris Ladhams 3, Nick Wark 3, Philip Smith 2, Jacob Bowen 1, Daniel Girdham 1, Gene Robinson 1, Christopher Hall 1, Luke Harrowfield 1, Corey Jones 1........looks like one of the stronger sides the league has had for quite a few years.

KNTFL Interleague 1.0 6 3.3 21 5.5 35 8.7 55

Best side the cods have put on the park for 10+ years. Well coached by Collo.

Agree AD. The Cods could have won that game by 15 goals but for inaccurate kicking. Most RMFL players had there moment to shine. Harvey had it on a string, and Brunoli's strength a real feature.

Footy was the winner on the day, for the Cods at least. All clubs were represented by all their players tremendously. It was great to see rep footy played wtih pride and passion for a change! Well done to the RMFL is pulling this one off.

I noticed a few days ago the clearance for McDonald to Tailem.

If he has played 7 Reserves games this year, presumably he would be a 3 point player..?

Can say the locks on the gate have been changed Bazza at Ango for season 2013 !! Harvey and Pech"s names are not on the playing list to get some. :axe:
But why would they return to the BL&G ??? They drove out of Ango in a HQ 72 model Holden and arrived at Roo Park in BMW Convertible 8) 8) Good footballers and smart operators :D
Good Luck To Them Both
