Good because it's close, but I don't think the performance from each team is anything to write home about .. Not a patch on last Fridays game

true. Not difficult to realise that there has been a distinct change in umpiring this week. The umpires have obviously been told to stop allowing the scrums to occur and pay holding the ball at every opportunity. Of course they'll deny it.....

I'm very biased, but the umpiring has been shizenhausen.

Try 1.9. Doesn't matter played heaps better tonight. Get a few players back and we are dangerous and will have a crack at the final 8

Carlton won't make the 8. We're spent.

Not getting any help from the AFL either, Having a 6 day break then backing up in Perth.
Also the Saints up at the Gold Coast this week then gotta back up 6 days later in Adelaide.

With 6 clubs having the bye this week, that programming is an absolute disgrace.

Don't forget we had a few Thursday games at the start of the year.

We also get lots of blockbuster friday night games.

Collingwood immediately jumps to mind for some reason ;)
6 day breaks in a 9 game round are hard to avoid, but with 6 clubs having the bye that's just rubbish. Pure lack of thought.
