Can anyone confirm on Saturday just gone a huge brawl that apparently happened between Seaton and Adelaide Lutherans C grade?
I have heard that a players from Lutheran was knocked out and then kicked in the face when on the ground. I also heard that the police ended up involved arresting a couple of players. This seems pretty serious and would have thought this might have been mentioned already if true!

It was in the paper so it must me true...

When our C's played in Div 10 in the late 90's there is no way you would let U/18 play that grade as it was dangerous but now we have half a dozen playing every week in our Div 8 side without any concern

I remember playing the Tigers and one of our blokes got smacked in the face by one of them.
Three weeks later the Ahole was in jail for armed robbery and assault.
Rot.

Definitely never in SAFA...

They were positively in SAFA.
I remember as a kid Athelstone kicking 50 odd goals against them for a League record.

Yep Trans Adelaide Tigers definatly played on there at some stage!

STA did first, in 95 I reckon they were the Trans Adelaide Tigers competing in division A5 north, could be wrong, I've killed a few brain cells along the way since.

they moved there after im pretty sure. They were interesting, i was a boundary umpire when i was a kid to help out, i remember at the oval next to HQ i was bout to call one of there players in the centre square for a infringement he turned to me and said "do it and i'll f****** kill you". i promptly put the whistle away. He was a good foot in ... That was U/17's ...

The Adelaide Tigers joined the SAFA in its final years, then merged with STA to become the Trans Adelaide Tigers. They folded and a few of their players went to Glandore, then they folded and a few years later the Kaurna Eagles formed and played at St Clair reserve, then Mawsons lakes oval until they folded.
