We have a longer streak anyway. We haven't beaten Willunga home or away since 1996

It was only 2010.....I think. Victor beat them at willunga when they won 13 in a row leading up to finals. I note only to be soundly beaten by them in the prelim at victor.

Yeah I had a feeling that may have been the case. Would probably be a fair way back to the previous time.

What's the story down at yank at the moment? Will they be looking for a new coach or sticking with him?

Yeah I have heard rumors about Yank too but considering the severity of the rumor and the fact that it is all I can consider it to be at this stage ( a rumor)... I think we will have to wait untill it comes out in the wash.

The president has had to resign due to taking a job offer at Robe as well documented. Certainly nothing sinister.. Will be greatly missed around the place and must be highly commended on the job he has done throughout his time on the committee and as President.

Nothing sinister insinuated - just heard last night that he'd left and couldn't remember why (People shouldn't try to talk to me when I'm watching TV ;) )

I'd be interested to hear from each of you about who you think your respective clubs have had the longest winning streak against.

1999 could of been the last time we beat Willunga...

can anyone tell me who does the write up in the times for the games? went to watch the bays v myponga a grade game on the weekend, which myponga lost, in a shit game of football. not that you would know that by the way the write up reads. you would think myponga had won the way they were pumped up in the article. IMO they are a bad football side who were given a chance to win due to the conditions (the weather and shit standard of the oval, would have been rated a heavy 8 or 9) and still couldnt. reading this write up gave me the impression that myponga were more than happy with a near enough is good enough effort while im told the bays copped a spray for their performance even after a win. probably a show of where the clubs are at.

Obviously a dedicated Yankalilla supporter, choosing to watch a "shit game" at Myponga instead of your own club....
Either that or your a yank local but sick of watching your own team and not knowing any players
