Probably helped a bit that we actually shut our mouth a bit and let them do their job and concentrated on the footy. You only generally hear criticism when it comes to umpires but its safe to say that yesterday they did an excellent job =D>

Cheers for that - I'll pass the feedback on to him.

Usually plays for us but can't afford to get an injury at the moment with his work situation. Has helped out and umpired the last couple of weeks. Has been really fair and paid decisions both ways.

It's good when this happens. You only need to get one fair umpire and usually this attitude spills over to his opposite number.

The games where the umpires can see the other guy cheating so has to follow suit to keep it on an even keel are painful.

I second this, its amazing when one starts the others follow and the attitude of the players can go down hill very fast.

CBCOC could be in with a big shot if the rumours i am hearing are true about EP. If not, I would expect EP to win comfortably. The best side by a stretch that we have played this year (no offence to the other sides)

Funny enough, in my 8 or 9 outings to Glenunga it has pissed down and the showers block up, Firle Foodland is past Glenunga
Munno Para Foodland is of a very high standard FWIW.

Didnt get anywhere near by the score,Dont really agree with stacking c grade sides surely some of these blokes could go up and help out the higher grades?.The bs get smashed every week and a's and b's havent won a game, yet c grade win by 20 goals every week,i no payneham wouldnt except that play where your picked like how it should be,but all clubs are run differant.

As far as im aware all Eastern Park sides sing the song on the ground after every win, could be wrong but thats how it always was when i was there.

If Eastern Park were at full strength, I thought that CBCOC would be pushing s**t up hill to beat them. Didnt see Ben Smith on their team sheet either, so some room for improvement for EP. They are, by a fair stretch, the best side in C4, and CBCOC arent the first and wont be the last to be handed a belting by them.

Thought most sides sing on the oval? Guess if we won by 21 goals we would be happy too....but then again we are just happy to get a win or 2.

I wouldn't say they are stacking their C grade, sure they have some that could play higher, but I think most are at the twilight of their career and just playing for the fun of it. In the game we played against them, they had 5-6 who could be playing B grade, maybe 1-2 who could push their A grade, but that was it. It isn't like they have stacked it with a dozen plus guns. In the end, we can only play who they put out, no point us worrying about that. Guess we are all just playing for the runners up trophy ;)
