The Kersbrook Brookers would have to get the award for the least creative

Didn't think was really an emblem for Kersbrook, like calling Onkaparinga Valley "Onkas" or Tea Tree Gully "Gullies". Kersbrook never really had one as far as I knew

Mt Barker Barkeroos is pretty woeful.

They have a good club song though.

That's gotta be a piss take right?

If not what the hell were they thinking? I doubt even a netball team would be that outrageous!

I think some of the names on there are the "unofficial" nicknames as well, Morphettville Park were also listed as the Twisties, an unofficial nickname they were given.

in that case, Glenelg Gays

Seagull, when were you in Mildura? I knew a number of people who played for Irymple. I was the statistician for Imperials.

Old VFA club Northcote were once called the 'Brickfielders' because of the local
brickworks.

Pretty sure over the last five years Geelong have played well enough for that name to be banished (for a little while at least).
