Normal League game entry prices and Yes you park on the surrounding Streets.

I normally play golf most Saturday mornings and it was bloody cold yesterday. I didn't fancy spending the afternoon in it either especially near the beach. Went to watch a SAAFL game in the eastern suburbs and returned home at half time of that as I was too cold. Watched the 2nd half of the SA v WA game on the telly instead.

How much is that then?

$14 I think....

Has the blue vee on the SA guernsey alway been the dark almost navy blue, i always thought it was more a royal blue like Centrals guernsey.

Wasn't overly interested, Port were on TV and I had a bit to do around the house. No chance of ever going.

Perhaps they could have had the game at the beginning of the season in the warmer weather on the Friday Night at Glenelg which might have got a few more out?

Friday night would have been better but I think the ABC would prefer it not to be on TV on an 18-hour delay like in 2006, and the Glenelg East residents might not have been happy with another night game.

Local cricket club had a function on, so that took priority. Would have gone otherwise though, and did enjoy watching replay last night.

Wasnt aware  . Just stating why I didn't go.

Don't understand why you wouldn't go just because it is not played at Adelaide Oval. It's still your state playing !!!

Really wasn't aware it was the same team. Thanks for the heads up.

Have you seen skilled stadium lately ??

Im surprised so many people dont care about state footy. I guess they wont be watching the Olympics in a few weeks.

I went (briefly) on Saturday but had to have a late change of plans.

I seriously reckon that the WAGS option is a big one - 3 byes plus state footy = four easy weekends of browny points. I reckon a lot of other browny points are claimed by supporters not travelling to Elizabeth, Noarlunga and to some extent, Alberton and Woodville.

Would you care to elaborate? In what way was it not linked to state footy? In what way was it not a state match?

Didn't go coz I didn't care.
Plus it was at Glenelg
If it was at a proper footy oval, I might have thought about it, and then not gone

If only collingwood GF's were played at footy pk, you may have won a few more than 2 in over 50 years.

I am making it a personal challenge not to watch any Olympic coverage, despite having all the added channels on PayTV.

I cant see any attraction in showcasing the State game at Glenelg oval, its a bog heap when its wet and too small a ground for State football, hence i didnt bother to go, if it was at Richmond, where the whole arena is terraced and you dont have to stand in wet grass and slop, it has to be better for the footy follower and family, I would have made the effort to be there.

I did use Glenelg oval as a part excuse for not going, the other part of excuse is that i have just about gotten over the flu of a couple of weeks, so more than likely i would have stayed home where ever it was played.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting
