Maybe the association should get back to their clubrooms & ''monitor'' Bob the Builder handing over the brown paper bags after each game.

There actually is as both clubs played against each other in 2007.
Who really cares as every club pays players & players move clubs every year so build a bridge & get over it..

Both clubs are looking forward to this one & should be a good game with mates vs mates & a few frothies afterwads ;)
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

Went for a look this morning.

Held up well as usual but the potholes have grown. Lucky DiPma isn't playing we might have lost him down one of them

Good news then ash! not sure about the potholes though *hello heavy ankle strapping*

hopefully the rain holds off and we can get 2 good games of footy in!

It's fine mate and there's not too many potholes so no need to worry. Even with all this rain we've had in the last week/will have the surface is still as hard as cement. With the our ground being so hard I'd actually recommend ankle/foot strapping.

Should be two good games tomorrow, both clubs play pretty similar styles of football. NH and HV have built a bit of a rivalry over the past 3 years, big test for us in the Bs with you guys sitting top at the moment, great chance to see where we're at and hopefully we can bounce back after a pretty poor lose against WOS. Should be a hard battle in the A's, we've had some pretty good contests in the A's over the last few years against HV.

Thanks for that mate. Im actually glad that HV has got all grades playing away this weekend, gives the centre square a break (would have got trashed had we played home tomorrow!!!)

Yeah i agree there. Am very much looking forward to the next 3 weeks for the b grade starting with tomorrows game, playing 4th, 3rd and 2nd will give us an idea of where we sit in the scheme of things. Saying that its a massive match in the A grade for both sides is an understatement!

Ill see you out there tomorrow mate, swing by for a beer during the A grade if you get a chance.

Yes Hope Valley ovals centre square would be an absolute mud hole at the moment, happy to be playing at home tomorrow. Yeah I'm looking forward to it. Agreed, a must win game for both sides. See you out there mate.

You should prefer to play us as it is now mate - the return game on our deck in 10 weeks could be a bit messy! :)
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Two great wins for NH over HV yesterday, we were really good yesterday. Our win in the 2s was one of the best I've been involved in and that was easily the best we've played all year. Showed some great passion and desire, which was clearly lacking against AL and WOS.

There was alot of niggle in both games, only adds fuel to fire of the continually growing rivalry between us and HV. On to our tradition rivals in Rosewater next weekend, they're struggling but we should never ever take Rossies lighty, they always seem to grow another limb when playing against us no matter how they've been travelling. I was talking to a bloke from Rosewater last night about the tussles we've had over the past two years and next weekend, he told me he doesn't care if he doesn't win a game for the rest of the year, along as Rossies beat NH.

SAAFL Division 5 & D5R (2012)

Postby Dols » Sun May 27, 2012 3:59 pm

From a spectator point of view I thought the umpires in the a grade at Nth Haven yesterday were very good. I didn't agree with all of the decisions but the game appeared to be controlled very well with no real surprising frees given. Any thoughts from anyone that played in the game.
