$2 For Pensioners + Concession Card holders

$8 to $14 is a hike of just under 50 %

Thats happened in about the last 2-4 years

At this rate , by about 2015ish ,given the same increases again, it would equate to Pensioners + Concession Card holders paying more the General Public

How have the attendances been this season? Has the price rise affected how many people are attending the SANFL? Perhaps the Crows success so far has also taken some people away from the SANFL? Or are crowd numbers still strong?

Technically, you are not. You work out the increase relative to the original price.
There are two issues; the % increase, and the final ratio of prices which may rise faster off a low base.

In the first case the increase is $6 on an $8 base and 6/8 x100 = 75% increase - new price now 175% of original (14/8x100).
In the second the increase is $6 on $2 - 6/2x100 = 300% increase - but the new price is now 400% of original (8/2x100).

Interestingly, the SANFL is behaving in a similar manner to how the state government is with water and electricity.
Got debts due to poor choices? Slug the punters. Then wonder why they go away.
