Round 9 Teams, trades & discussion

Postby Interceptor » Mon May 21, 2012 5:48 pm

Start it off with news for Murphy owners:

"We will not have an accurate indication of how long Marc will be out of action until the surgery is performed however we do know he will not be available until after our bye in round 13," Carlton football operations manager Andrew McKay said.

Murph out, Ablett in.

FFS. Fyfe, Goodes, Ablett, Murphy all eating up my trades. Only used two for upgrades, one downgrade. No wonder my team is continually getting beaten each week.

Considering ablett's relatively high BE I might hold off on him for now... One more week won't hurt, if he scores 165 he breaks even anyway, I can't see him scoring too much more than that... I hope!

Looking at Greene and Morris into Zorko and Waters.

That will finish off my defense and give me the mid forward link I need. Then next week ablett in after another drop in value, prob for Magner and a forward downgrade to tommy Walsh... Timing seems pretty good for me
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

All aboard the Zorko train.

Incorrect.

Will not be boarding the Zorko train. Despite really liking his cash cow status.

A lot of people who didnt have Murphy were waiting for him not to reach his breakeven and go down even more. I guess that plan has backfired. Gotta look for another cheap premium to add to the side.

Have had both of these since the start of the season, so if you want to end up down the bottom end of the table like me then jump on them...

Mitchell has been ok but Pavlich has been absolute poo...

Too late with Pav, jumped on him last week with his low break even of about 60 and high forecast against the Hawks.

Hit the trade button on Ellis, then I changed B Smedts from my fwd line into my backs therefore effectivly trading B Ellis for a FWD (Zorko)

You can swap DPP players on the left hand side of your computer screen whilst you are trading.

Thoughts on Zorko?

Must have? Will he play midfield against better opposition?

Good work ;) I only have Smedts for one reason and I wont go wasting him in that fashion. FWD/DEF DPP's are too hard to find, well good ones any way.
I did think Zorro was only a mid, pays to check.
I did try that last week but ended up with Major & The Kid up the same end, trying to get rid of Major but will only do it for Michael Johnson.
