Of course we can't assume sarcasm is motivated by pure fun and doesn't have an extra agenda like that suggested above.. ;)
That said, I enjoy Booney's style.

Can remember the Crows saying at the time that if they'd had the second pick in this draft that they still would have taken Dangerfield and that they were amazed that he was still available at 10. Given that Cotchin and arguably McEvoy are the only other standout's taken in front of him, it's still hard to argue with their thinking.
Why Rucci and other Journo's kept on going on about it I've got no idea but they've got to fill the paper with something I suppose.

Crows got it right 100% quite possibly drafted one of the all time greats of the game, as opposed to a decent player in Brad Ebert.

A mate of mine is a scout and said at the time Dangerfield would only get better whereas Ebert wouldn't
Not sure he's been proven right, but he still rates Dangerfield better than Ebert

Played football at a successful club in 2012?? ;)
I think Ebert has come a long way in 2012. IMHO I couldn't see him fit in to the Eagles best 22 now. He has made a move that has helped his footy a lot. He will go close to winning the B&F this year.

By being able to assess footballers based on their ability. Danger is so far ahead of Ebert, makes him look like a plodder

Ebert would be a fringe player at the Crows this year IMO would be fighting say Chris Knights for a HF role & with his poor disposal he wouldn't be picked everyweek. Also the reason he couldn't get a full time gig at the Eagles.

Has improved but burns the ball doesn't hurt the opposition like Danger does.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
