Reid the bigger loss with brown out, tarrant under done after playing last week on the vfl as a forward and keefe suspect at best!

Noticed another Pendlebury in the best for their VFL side, younger/older brother?
Is he on Collingwood's list?, what type of player is he?

That's Kris Pendlebury.

Was the talk two years ago about a mature age pick up but missed the boat. Think he is 25-26. Plays through the midfield I think as well

Is the Collingwood captain in the VFL as well so he is going to be safe for life ;)

We've got Witts developing nicely in the ressies to take over from Jolly.

you watching the same bloke??

Sure he makes some mistakes like all inexperienced blokes but he's held some pretty handy forwards to minimal scores.
Without Reid, Brown and Tarrant around him i reckon he's done ok.

I reckon Keefe is doing a good job. KP players take their time getting better and it's great that he is holding is own and getting heaps of game time.

Good to see that we'll have two more debutantes in Saturday night's game against the Cows. Marley Williams looked a likely type in the NAB cup and Jamie Elliot comes with big expectations.

Apparently we've used 35 players already this season, which is behind only GWS & GCS.

I'm pretty worried that Cloke is off to Freo or some other club.
His form last night was woeful taking just 1 mark for the night, but the damning thing was that he didnt look that interested at all. Being how his Dad left Richmond to go to Collingwood for more money, then does this mean there is no loyalty factor in the gene pool?
I certainly hope i'm wrong on these assumptions as he is vital for us. I'm hoping he makes a public announcement in the very near future and get back to playing good footy.

I agree this is more of a distraction to his game knowing he's weighing up his options for next year.
Surely he'd rather play with a team that he knows is going to be around for sometime playing finals football?
Maybe he's happy now with that 1 flag & thinks its time to build up his $$property portfolio$$?
I'd be disappointed to see him go elsewhere, surely Collingwood have 6-700K a year for him, his form to date this year is way below that.
Good signs for Collingwood was Daws & Cloke had shitta nights but the rest of boys carried them & compensated the club with a fantastic win, how much better could this team be if these 2 key forwards pulled their fingers out of their arses?
Bucks needs to put the word on them that they could soon be kicking the dew off the grass with their VFL team.

We had:
Ball
Tarrent
Swan
Johnson
Brown
Krakouer
Reid
McCaffer ( I actually think this blokes unavailability is why we couldn't get over the line last year, huge out)
Keefe

Not sure any other club could have an injury list that looks like that (8 players in their best 22) and still beat Adelaide in Adelaide in red hot form.

Your right Goldberg with the players out, our depth is standing up for now.
I'm talking about Cloke & Daws, how long do they carry these blokes?

Are Keefe, Krak and Ball the only one's that won't be back this season?

I really thought Ball would be a massive loss for the Pies, but the step up from Beams and Sidebottom has been sensational .. And on Saturday night guys like Blair, Wellingham, Sinclair, Goldsack, all played vital roles .. It really was a complete team performance and they loom ominously over the competition if Diet Cloke can get involved.

And Caff. That's four ACLs this year and it looks like Johno could be gone for the year with his shoulder.

Their is a time when players must feel the pain of being dropped because of their sad form, you can't carry them forever when theirs young ones that you want to have a look at, obviously you won't drop him v Hawks or Carlt etc because of the match ups but v Gold Coast, GWS, why not?
Some get in comfort zones & need reality checks.

On one hand NM wants Cloke dropped, on the other the reports in the Herald Sun are he wants 900k over 5 years, Collingwood have offered 700k over 4. Getting sick of this dragging out and its holding up talks with all the other players out of contract, I wouldnt be surprised if Collingwood are set on what they'll pay him to accomodate the rest of the boys.
What he's asking for is more then Swannys on, and Pendles, theyre our best players, while its relative that big forwards are harder to come by he doesnt warrant that kind of money IMO, especially if it costs us one of Reid, Sidebum or Beams.

Hes starting to smell like a greedy rat and if he wants to rape a club of every cent they've got available to aid losing a team mate then let it be with another club.

I agree with you. Its disappointing, surely he understands the position his clubs in with the Swanns, Pendles, Thomases etc.
This sides going to be playing finals footy for a long time but can't pay him over & above Swann & Pendles salary & $700k a year for 4 years is a bloody good contract as Clokes form this year doesn't warrant anymore than that. Its easy for him to go to a bottom club for $1M a year, those clubs are a long way off playing finals footy, he'll be retired by then.
The question must be asked, does he want to play finals footy or is he about me, myself & i?
Collingwood don't need this messing with its Grand Final aspirations like last years debacle of Mick Malthouse & the media. The media will be looking at anything to de-rail Collingwoods year once again.
