It would be nice for a change. I watch the power game last weekend on Sunday. That was a bit horrible, they are definitly struggling but Freo with Lyon seem to be a cancer on the game.

As for North, they have a good forward line setup and I would expect them to start actually trying to make it work.

But in regards to the game itself, I think it will be a decent contest and North should get up over the Power. Quite simply if North lost this one then I'm not sure where they are at and with Scott being his what 3rd year (????????) at the club, he might be on the way out if they can't get over the Power.

Pretty good in the end.

Schulz was excellent, Pearce put in an honest one, Pfeiffer tried his best ( might need some polish ), that was awesome!

FFS who cares, at least he is displaying passion for the jumper and shows a bit of emotion when we win or lose, in a side which up until today had shown **** all character and **** all care for the jumper.

That is embarrassing...

Put whatever spin on it you want Port people, but that "crowd" figure is terrible.

Well done on Ports win. Living in Perth and you hear locals say "why would Brad Ebert or Josh Carr want to be involved with Port". Put on my pride cap for a second Port are Australia's most successful elite football club and it gets to me how much respect they have lost.
I remember watching the Sunday Footy Show after the 2004 premiership and all the commentators were slamming how Port Adelaide had every man and their dog associated with Port on the oval after the game. Billy Brownless shut them all down and said that is the reason why they are Australia's best Football Club. Get the passion back.

I still hate Port and you will never hear me say a defensive word for them again.

Crowds are what they are.

All teams crowds drop off when they're playing crap.
After all, footy is entertainment and if the entertainment is consistently crap which it has been for Port followers, who can blame them?
Crap timeslot
Crap opposition

LIVE on TELLY as is every match these days. I PAY for Austar for that privelige and the AFL get S**T loads of $$$$ for it. A fair trade off for the drop in crowds i would've thought.

Trouble is that it seems everyone compares Ports crowds to the Crows crowds. Port should never rival their crowds due to obvious reasons.
It's like comparing Melbournes crowds to Collingwoods.

Footy isnt everything to supporters like it once was and they have better things to do with their time and money if they so desire.

Lets face it, with the massive television deals done these days, getting crowds to the footy isn't a priority any more for the AFL.

If anyone is offended by a low crowd figure, get over it.

You can say what you like about Port (and I'm hardly a fan ;) ) but today's win was a VERY gutsy win from a team that has copped more than its share of crap over the last few weeks.

Enjoy your win Port lads. It was thoroughly deserved......I still hate you though. ;)
