Carlton v Radelaide Crows....ohh what a feelin'

What's up Crow dudes!

Why haven't you started a game thread for Sundays clash?

You blokes are flying and should be pumping up your guns big time for this one. Just like Danger is pumping up his pay cheque...

It's indigenous round! Get around the Brothers. Petrenko & Stiffy, Yazza, Jeffy, Bettsy & Walks!!

After last weeks dismal effort I can't see the Blues getting close to the new look Crows sans Walker.

Luckily the Blues have Melbourne & Port after so we can get the season back on track.....

Talk to me Crows brothers.....talk to me.....

I personally were more confident going in against the Swans and the Cats for some reason. Your small fellas worry me and you will be smarting after your poor performance !

You'd have to go with Carlton but I wonder if they may make too much of Adelaide missing Walker and underestimate whoever takes his place throughout the game. I heard a rumour during the week that there was a cloud over Waite, anyone know?
Not sure I'll pick Adelaide but I've got a feeling about this one.

Not just a cloud over waite but a entire storm. Not sure if he is playing this week.

There is no walker for the crows, but they are a good team. Wins over Sydney and Geelong would indicate that. They have the midfield to match it with Carlton.

With Carlton, each year when we think they will take the next step they find teams to lose to that they should beat. But I dont believe this will be another one, I feel Carlton will get up by a few goals.

What a game, what a great turn around of a playing group!
There's now no reason for anyone to mention Adelaide's draw when they take all before them home OR away. No excuses from any scribes now. If West Coast win I'll have 9/9 this week, and what a week to do it, AND go outright leader. Late change from cats to Fagpies, late change from Kangawoes to Powa and one of the only ones to pick Adelaide. FU<€ YEAH!!!!

Injury to Murphy may be significant for Carlton now especially if it becomes long term.

The Crows have definitely impressed, however I would argue the soft early draw enabled them to get their confidence early on, which they've now been able to build on. But good luck to them, they dont set up their own FIXture (but it is farcical but thats for another thread perhaps).

But well done AFC and Sanderson. Anything below top 4 finish at end of minor round will be below expectations now.

Nah, Adelaide are no good.

They only beat Sydney because Goodes got injured.

They only beat Geelong because Scarlett & Bartel were late withdrawals.

They only beat Carlton today because Carazzo is out and Murphy went down.

If the beat Collingwood next week it will only be because Swan is out.

And let's not forget their draw, anyone could jag a top 4 berth with that run.

Nah, Adelaide are no good.....

My point is that their early draw was very soft with games against GWS and GC.

I doubt their confidence would be up as much as it is now if they played Colllingwood and the Eagles in the first 2 weeks.

Its an observation, not a criticism of the Crows who have been very impressive in the last month.

No worries mate.

After today's effort they will start to be seen as legitimate top 4 contenders, and will presumably no longer be under-rated.

Schulz I thought would straighten them up and McIntosh out for NM might undermine their flexibility to put a tall back or forward. Not to underestimate the crap that had been dished out at the PAFC in the last 2 weeks, they were due to turn it around, home ground, and against a flagging NM.
I was at the Earl of Leicester before the Sturt game for some great $6 pints of Sparkling and asked my mates if they could put up an agrument for a Port win, (I had already picked NM), none could, and said I was stupid. At 3/4 time in the SANFL game I was hard at myself that I had backed in port and had words with a Legs supporter about why I would do so, needless to say that I showed him the final scores and Schulz's goal kicking at the end.
After a great day for a great mates daughters christening/3rd birthday, Adelaides THUMPING today and my tips... I'm happy despite my beloved Double Blues poor form.
Gotta love the footy. ;)
