Any chance of this Klompy fella not playing this weekend? Please?? ;)

why would you be bothered with the 10 blokes you have in this week, including 7 from the B Grade last week

perhaps making excuses already - with only one more win needed for the record, I hope you are not feeling the pressure ;)

That 10 in, just turned into 4 out from the start to the finish of training.....

No excuses, just plain facts. 1 more win? I reckon we might get you to play that game, and I'll sit you on the bench for the whole game. ;)

PNU As Bs and Cs have 23 unavailable or injured this Saturday  . 23 on the board, i may have forgotten someone.
I think we will both have 20 odd decent players to choose from on the day and the team that plays the better footy will win. No need to over complicate the C4 comp. We are both decent teams and if you take your chances you can win the game either way. Forecast rain will probably even things out but for the first time in several years PNU have a decent blend of young nimble mosquito fleet blending nicely with a mid 30s experienced stronger body on all lines.
PNU did lose their co-Captain Fordy 2 weeks ago for 12 and hope he has a good and speedy recovery. Would have been destroying the B and F count.
Really looking forward to a good competitive game at one of the very few of the 67 clubs that i have never played at. at least not that i can remember anyway :o

Totally agree mate, looking forward to the match. C grade footy is just that, and no point reflecting on who is in and who is out as it will vary every week when the side is dependent on availabilities in the higher grades. Back what ya have in and all ya can ask for is a competitive effort. Ground is in good nick at the moment, won't be disappointed. Come say g'day, I'll be the hack holding the team board on the sidelines, thats if I can't convince my work physio to let me play ;)

Must say that today was a very low moment in my footy career,1st the umps between bramha lodge and pnu was the worst ive seen in any standard of footy ive played.BOTH umps over controlled the game and just didnt pay any free kicks to the opposition teams, recked the game for everyone, seemed like it was all about them,But even worse was the fact a player from lodge who was sent off for swearing at the ump picked up a water bottle and threw it straight at the umps head    not a good look for the club, finally get wife and kids out to watch a game and that happends said they wont be coming again.sad for footy  Other wise well done to bramha you guys too good today and most of you guys seemed like a good bunch of blokes. Will the club take any action against this player or will the league look into it?Not a good look in any grade.whats your view masha

Mate, all I can say about the incident is that I am extremely embarrassed and disappointed about the incident. The bloke has let himself and the club down. Can't apologize to you guys and the umpire enough. For what it is worth, and it does not make the incident any better, but I have played with and now coached him and have never seen anything to indicate he is capable of anything like this. To say the umpire was lenient with his punishment would be an understatement. As for a punishment, the club will be taking action, and as the coach and a committee member, It'll definitely be followed through.

On the game, the only thing I will say about the umpiring is that is was poo!! As for the contest, it was tight and hard fought all day, and was quite relieved after our fade out last week to get the points with a good last quarter. Thought your number 7 or 17 on the wing?? was quite good for you guys. Good set of hands overhead. Good luck for the rest of the year, looking forward to the reverse fixture at your ground.

Was actually good beating PNU, considering all the times I've played PNU when I was at EPFC, it always ended in a loss.

Everyone should stop bagging the bloody umpires on this forum!
They do the best they can week in week out, have some bloody respect and stop blaming the people who make the game happen.

Today was easily the most embarrassing day of my football career. Not because a young fair and respectful young footballer bested me in most contests I competed in. Not because we could not find a way to stop number 26 from the tigers as he was awesome. Best C grade performance i have seen in a long time. That's why I still do this, you get to see young footballers come of age and rip a game to pieces
It's because today the umpire could have been hurt in a senior game of Footy Via an assault.

Today's game was a disgrace. :( the worst thing I've ever seen. No the worst moment. Almost surreal. It should never happen. Umpire assault is not acceptable. Never under any circumstance

Just on that umpiring decision with the water boy, I asked the umpire after the game about it, as I too was confused about the call. He said the water boy was talking to one of his players, but never gave him water. So he assumed he was giving him instructions/directions, which is against the rules for a water boy.(he said he asked him to stop it 2 times before that) I still don't agree with the free kick by the ways, just relaying what it was actually for.
