Rnd 9 - Sturt v Norwood @ Commander Centre Oval (Sat 19/5)

Postby Big Phil » Mon May 14, 2012 9:09 pm

The Double Blues have been on the slide the last few weeks and almost pinched the win against the Eagles. Norwood are taking all before them and are still undefeated...

Game will be televised on ABC TV from 2:00pm...

This game concerns me, we havnt played well at Turd Park in the last few seasons and Sturt quite often lift against us. Cant see it being a blowout, thinking we might get up by a couple of goals

Sturt seem to be falling short by a 2-3 goals each week...

... they're likely to fade out in one quarter and get smashed, so I can't see them winning against the league leader.

Norwood 41-50.

Haven't seen much of Sturt this year, so don't really know what to expect .. They touched us up in the final trial game (we were pretty much full strength too IIRC), so maybe they will be one of those teams that matches up really well on us?

As Jim said we haven't been too flash at Unley in the past couple of seasons, so hopefully we can address that this weekend.

I guess that means congrats to Keith Thomas in succeeding in his nefarious plan.

Sturt by 2 goals.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Wrong, Unley Oval is in top nic, we got the world famous groundsman from Norwood in.
