A very frustrated loss again mate. I'm sure people watching the game would've been very happy with what they witnessed (Although obviously Lockleys supporters would be happier) with over 40 goals being kicked by 2 very even sides. C/U started well with the breeze having a nice lead at 1/4 time then played a very good 15mins of the 2nd 1/4 to let it all slip in the last 10mins and allow Lockleys to bang on from memory about 8 goals in 10mins including 7 in a row.

Again for C/U words were needed at half time and played a great 3rd term with a very healthy lead at 3 1/4 time. But in the last to lockleys credit they got momentum there tails up and run away with the game C/U lost Woody very early in the last Knocked out and number #1 for Lockleys (skipper i think) and #2 off a wing ran a muck to get them across the line. Big Glenn Sanford played his first game and could be a great IN for Lockleys will get better and better.

A huge thank you to Lockleys for there hospitality after the game.

Thanks Carey. Also really great to see about half a dozen of your boys still there whilst we were doing presentations. :ymapplause:
For what it's worth, there was 41 goals kicked, with 16 kicked in the last 1/4 alone. Your boys were pretty good only kicking 3 behinds for the game.

Watched 10min of the 3rd 1/4 and the last 20min of the game between farmers and lakes. when i got there during the 3rd IF 5 goals lakes 6goals. I then witnessed some very poor umpiring. A attempted spoil from the farmer player accidentally to the head of the lakes player pure accident was a attempted spoil whilst in a marking contest. The lakes player got the free (rightly so) , he also received a 25 which wasnt on but what was worse the IF player was red carded. slots it thru for a goal, lakes kicked the next 2, then a dubious free kick paid and 25 results in goal to lakes then awarded another free for a farmer mouthing off, not to the umpire, result lets give lakes another shot at goal. now 6 goals down. left in disgust. called passed on the way home and watched the last 20, fabulous footy. would like to know what number hotpies is i will make sure to watch next game and just sit down and have a little look to see if he can play.

Mate, there is tagging and then there is just belting him every time he went near the ball or not. Rob would not have a problem being tagged and crap like that, but when u just have dog acts done against you it is a joke.
Takes a lot of courage to stand under a skied ball to mark it. Doesn't take much to just run straight thru a bloke and then wonder y you have been sent off!
Some of the off the ball stuff sat was a joke

U blokes ever get beat by a better team when it counts or just the umps?

Also mate who said i was playing??
geez you guys think we sooked, i never sooked about how a number of times a mawson lakes player got a free kick or mark, ball went to ground, IF player picked it up and just dropped it back on the ground, should be automatic 25 metre, umpire was right there, basic umpiring rule that ALL players should know. Also wasnt aware that players could push there opponents in the back to the ground these days in a marking contest.

I would like to know the role that the IF runner and guy running water on sat, was told that the last few minutes these 2 blokes spent about 30 seconds in a mawson players face yelling abuse at him over and over! Your the runner you send msgs out to your own players! but hey we are talking about Ingle Farm, who probably will never lose the 'Feral' tag with blokes like these at their club!

Can everyone do me a favour, when they play Mawson Lakes please play fairly, leave Mr o'Gorman alone, for god sake don't hit anyone or go in too hard and maybe let them win so we don't have to read 3 pages of the sooking and wingeing like we have had to put up with this week. you're co-operation is appreciated.....Love THE RUNNER

Here is a hint that might be a bit hard for you to understand. If you are a runner, run your message out to your player then run off like you are supposed to do.
No need to stand in opposition players faces and yell abuse at them
If you read back a few pages mate you will see it was your blokes who got on here whinging about everything and anything. Mawson Lakes just won the game

wow, 3 pages of posting since mid yesterday morning.

i might start going to other div 6 games as the BOS v Uni was a very orderly affair on saturday. one point to note for the uni guys, may need to correct the time on the grandstand clock as the b grade was quite late starting and the uni a grade almost missed the start of the second half.

other than that all runners well behaved (except for me  )and umpires doing a good job.

I was at the game for a half & IF better team by a mile!! Lakes got handed a few easy goals umpiring poor to say the least..
Lynch was freakish kicking goals from everywhere as he always does...
Was a good game to watch, pity couldn't hang round to the end to see the last 10mins or so

He also believes Geelong didn't win last years premiership, as Collingwood were the better side during the season
