I'm sick of umps looking after college type sides and given em a fair whack of an advantage while not given the clubs with old rePs a chance. Sometimes it's so bloody obvious and it can change the flow of a game and often does. This is a complete go at the maggots, not any club.... Just a rant! West Croydon looked good yesterday by the way!

Was gonna say before I read the end that you must have been out at Webb Oval yesterday. I didn't think they were too bad though. Have had plenty worse than that.

I do hope the B grade umpire slept well last night though.

what is a "college type side"..glenunga arent college..so is it any team to the south of Henley beach rd? :)

we tally the frees at all of our games..heres a few..

rd 2 v IFFC at CLG, F - 14 A - 28 CLG wins
rd 4 v AUFC at CLG, F - 18 A - 19 CLG wins
rd 5 v WSFC at WSFC, F - 13 A - 29 WSFC wins

so which colleges do WSFC and IFFC players come from? :)

One good thing to come out of the game was that we don't have the worst surface in Div 5 this year.

Went into the club for a beer afterwards, have never felt as unwelcome in an opposition club rooms as I did on Saturday, will be my last appearance in there.

Have heard there was a bit of an all in at the Fitzroy Rosies game after 1 or 2 king hits were delivered by a couple of Fitzroy lads when the game was close. After that Rosies came out and just retaliated and got beaten comfortably.

Played there also on Saturday Boosh definately was an experience, in 300+ games of amateur footy that was my first game of beach football. The gound was slightly better than their C grade umpire however

While warming up for the B grade game saw the little post-match push and shove between Districts and Luthies...thought I saw some attempted bombs in there, non of which landed

It was very ordinary LMA, although I would have thought a man of your fitness and speed would have glided over the sand traps

That is true and I probably should have cos' I got a nice cold one where as the other guys all good beers that must have been in the sun all day.

We could hear a sigh of relief as we left, the most disappointing thing was there wasn't anything worth stealing so we couldn't by as much crack as we usually do.

I thought about taking 1 of the 2 yellow plastic chairs but it was too risky.

I did hear that 16 for Fitzroy knocked out one of our blokes with a punch to the head but of course there was nothing in it otherwise he would have got reported.

Speaking of hospitality in the club rooms after the game, a big shout out goes to Glenunga. They were awesome. Very hospitable, very welcoming. Had some coldies and some snags in there for us to. Was a very nice environment.
