Glenelg didn't really give a yelp and the crowd didn't turn up.

Free dinner and drinks was a bonus.

WOW!!!! If Glenelg are the 3rd/4th best side in this comp the SANFL is in trouble!

Poor crowd but in fairness you had 35K at a Crows game and a sold out Morphettville which rarely happens. Would be lucky if 3K were there.

What did Central and Black Cavier have in common they both got to the front didnt touch whip and won comfortably.

Also thought Westoff was better than Kirkby and Nason was one of Centrals best!

I drove for an hour to see that non-effort? Weak as piss. I've seen players run harder at training.

Evening saved from being a complete waste by meeting a few of the dogs posters (and non-posters ;) ) and being dragged into Grand Central for nibbles and wine at half time.

Thought it may have been him, embarrasing haircut emabrassing performance.

Also ranga #6 spent more time running to and from the interchange bench than actually being on the field, felt sorry for the poor bastard wasnt given a chance.

Dogs simply wanted the ball and contest more than us. Such a simple game plan but its amazing how hard we make it.

Lights are worst in SANFL and really need more for such a big ground.

YEEEEEPPPP!

I have pretty standard eye sight but have no chance off clearly seeing play when the ball is at the opposite end of the field. The lights themselves are probably very good but as you said have a large area to cover and for me it just doesnt do it well enough.

The thing that puzzles me is the light towers are 40-50m back from the fence which makes it even harder for them to be effective.

Just looking at the draw, I feel for the Bays a little - the fixture has them playing the top 3 league sides of 2011, five times in seven rounds of footy!

Round 7 - Norwood (a)
Round 8 - Central (a)
then
Round 11 - Eagles (h)
6 days off, then
Round 12 - Norwood (h)
6 days off, then
Round 13 - Central (h)

Yeah, but these things are cyclical, we had an easy draw last year, which was a prime factor in us making the 5.

I understand the draw is cyclical, but I just thought 5 games in 7 rounds vs the top 3 sides of last year was a bit rough. It might have been able to have been a bit more evenly spread over 23 rounds.

Pfft the draw is the least of our problems and if you look at the flip side it is an opportunity to see exactly where we are at. Had some major flaws exposed over the last two weeks. If we learn from those by rd 13 we get to see how we have responded/learnt anything. Up to us.

Hey at least we won a qtr after the pantsing last year, by 2015 we might be able to win 4 qtrs out there....

yeah I'm clutching at straws...
