no arguments here bout the interchange...

No not being sarcastic at all ...... I have known the bloke for more than 30 yrs and he is not a cheat
Is he the aboriginal guy from a couple years ago? I thought he was one of the better ones, unleys on the other hand. Is your goal umpire still waving those massive flags?
Lloyd Rigney - I doubt it
He was a good player and umpire

However the greenacres 'B' grade umpires is officially the worst umpire i've ever seen... We got 1, yes 1 free kick from him all day. And we only got that because it was THAT obvious!!! Someone will get hurt if he continues to umpires!!! He is a blatent CHEAT!!!! I very rarely complain about the umpires, especially when there helping out there club by umpiring. But he was a disgrace!!! Something has to be done!!!
I reckon im not the only one who feels this way.

I reckon the Hectorville one has about the same amount of talent, when these umpires cant even run becuase they are so over weight its a bloody joke.

Spot on aussi.... Or so old that they can't even get to a contest even if they wanted to !!

Whats the Golden Grove side like? Last time they were in div 4 they were pretty young and quick, still the same?

Shock me, umpires in Div4 and Div4R level are shit.....
What do people expect? It's a shit gig and they should be paid more. If you disagree ask youself why you don't do it or why better quality football people don't do it. If you want quality you have to make it worth their while, and on the evidence, it's not.
And its bullshit when people and say the umps 'cheat', (99% of the time) umps don't go out with bias, they are just no good.

Though what does piss me off is that geriatric umps go out there with the attitude that the world is against them and everyone hates them, therefore they umpire with a chip on their shoulder before the games even started, rather than umpiring in the interests of the game and with the view to work with the players not against them. But, hey look at the shit people write on here and the shit they cop on match days and you can see why after being called every name under the sun they feel that way.

Want better umps, pay them more and make it a better environment to do their job. If not get the same rubbish we currently get.

Increasing the pay won't fix the problem Jetters. It'll just attract more umpires who are just as as old, lazy and fat to collect those extra $$$.....

Seriously, from what I witnessed as a neutral at Scotch (could have been slightly biased as I was standing and chatting with Golden Grove people ;) ) there is going to be a major incident in future.

Saw on several occasions that Scotch players would shove their opponents into the picket fence yet they would still end up with frees or 25m due to the umpires not having control as they (Golden Grove) would get up and give a niggle that I consider acceptable at SANFL level. Soon there is going to be either a major injury involving the fence or retaliation because the umpires allow this behavior to happen

Yeh, I'm not suite sure if he has witnessed Unleys B Grade umpire yet. Whilst Lloydy makes some frustrating calls, I believe him to be the fairest umpire I have ever seen. He calls it as he sees it and being 75,000 years old, he cant see everything. Whilst Plympton did flog us, they won't have the capacity to beat any fit and decently skilled side that likes to use their bodies. Countless times I seen hard but fair hits on Plympton players. They went down like damp tampons and got up wanting to fight before realising that's something they would likely lose ;)

So all in all, if teams concerntrated more on their goods and bads and not predominately the umpires, they will likely be more successful.

That was the case for around 24 hours, but it got cancelled again. Shame since the guys were keen for it and a couple of blokes snapped up tickets to the races that they're trying to sell off now.

Pulteney by plenty over an undisciplined Hectorville today at Morgan Oval.

Umpires were a bit better today compared to what I saw last week but still plenty of room for improvement

1 in particular dog act from a Hectorville player in front of the umpires that went unpunished. I don't care what happens on the field but NEVER strike an opponent with your foot under any circumstances [-X

Not too sure which game you were watching today mate... Should have been three poultney players and two hectorville players reported for striking today instead umpires were more concerned about giving out yellow cards for swearing absolutely did not protect the players today from both sides. Had one umpire come into the rooms and apologise because he didn't know you could have third man up. With all that said pultney out played hectorville and deserved the win too good on their home deck ... Perrie put on a clinic in the middle
