WTF does Haddin have over Clarke...why does he continue to say he is the test keeper..the next Test is in Nov

Haddin should have played his last match for Australia. Clarke's captaincy has been fantastic on field but suggesting Haddin and Wade both could play in the same side is beyond laughable. Haddin brings nothing to the table. Wade has him covered in every aspect and there are many blokes who are better than both as a specialist batsman.

In all honesty it's being unfair on Haddin to keep mentioning him. He should just go out gracefully rather than trying to cling onto what was a serviceable but unspectacular career. If he plays again he will just make a fool of himself.

I'd say as a skipper he'd have to try and keep all concerned happy and bite his lip to some degree, did we ever find out why Haddin returned from the Caribbean?

That's very sad. Makes the game of cricket and his prospect of getting back in to the side in the future irrelevant. Hopefully his child recovers and gets well soon.

Just read that Wade overcame Testicular Cancer at the age of 16. You get the feeling Wade may have a long career ahead of him. Seems to have what it takes to play Test Cricket.

A pretty ordinary series by the Aussie batsmen. We'll need to bat a lot better than that to challenge South Africa and England.

More a reflection on the sub-standard wickets mate, only one recognised batsman averaged over 40.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Sub-standard? At least there were results for a change.

Oh, I agree, much prefer to see the bowlers on top, when I say sub-standard I refer to what top level batsmen are accustomed to.

Tough wickets...and poor batting. I watched Clarke give up his wicket the other morning and I was half asleep and thought 'oh well fourth day he's got to have a crack'. oops. it was the third day. Besides, if it's good enough for Lyon to rack em up. ;)

Ideally I'd like to see a slightly faster rate of scoring but with all the wickets falling.

Shiv valued his wicket and prospered against the better attack.
