Pt Hughes for me.

Looking at a metro morning squid sesh on Saturday I reckon.

Was at 'Hughes for 3 days last weekend. Nailed the weather. Also nailed a legal snapper on a 'plastic'.. ;) Gobbed that little 2.5 Yozuri like there was no tomorra! Snap swivel was in his teeth, and you can see where the prongs ended up. ;)

Thats funny.
Dumb fish.

Yes and no. Yozuri was a pilchard colour, and if you've ever used the pilchard coloured Squidgies on reds before, you'll know they are slightly partial to 'em. ;)

Sure is TSG.

No, Farm Beach is just in behind Pt Sir Isaac making it a beach launching, whiting mecca. You drive 15 minutes north to Greenly for the surf. A further 15 minutes from there will have you at Convention beach, Salmon mecca.

But we have it all over here..... 8)

Yep, big and small salmon are landed regularly. Mulloway and kingies occasionally on live baits. Squid, tommies and gar are probably the regulars. Not sure if its still operating but often the jetty is closed at loading times. Best check.

Its always closed when I have wanted to use it! Looks like a good spot - Would be plenty of squid I think, which could then turn into mully or kingy!
