Talk on the national game

Etihad Stadium

Postby Baron Greenback » Wed May 02, 2012 11:18 am

I'm heading to Etihad for the Bombers v Lions game on Saturday and I've bought tickets online.
Only thing is I don't really know where we're sitting.
The stadium plan is pretty vague as far as seating goes.

We're in:
Section L1 22
Row P
Seats 41-44

Anyone have any idea where these seats are?

Best venue to watch footy at, everything is close and a great atmosphere if the roof is closed.

Yeah I can't wait.
Went to watch Essendon v Adelaide there a few years back.
Up in the bleachers but felt like we were right on top of the players.

Thanks Gadg, saw that plan myself, but didn't really show what section we're in.

Melbourne knows how to do a great viewing stadium.

The new rugby/soccer stadium is amazing as well, cant miss a moment of the game no matter where you are with the seating plus all the plasmas around the outside concorse.

I saw Carlton vs Saint Kilda a few years back at Eithad when St Kilda kicked the first 6 goals only for Carlton to come back and lose by a kick in the end. Judd went off at least 5 times with the blood rule. The noise from inside was amazing that day.

Prices inside generally a bit more expensive but well worth it for the atmosphere.
