C grade isn't just about old hacks having a kick but also it's developing players from juniors if they aren't up to playing in the higher grades either through skill levels or body size.

yeah and?

I'll make it simple for you private school types. Jimmy is 16 and driven to games by mum (can't get P's till 17 these days). Old hack can only get the ball by thumping Jimmy behind play. Mum sees Jimmy get hurt and no longer drives him to games. Another player lost.

Enthralling reading on here!

The argument of 'if we didnt do this or didnt do that we would have won' is much the same as 'if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle'!

Sides can only beat the opposition that is put in front of them, so if they had 30,000 players out, or felt pressure that wasnt there, or turned the ball over inexplicably then unfortunately that isn't the side that win's fault!

Some people make it sound like the only reason another club wins is because the whole team forgot how to play footy for the day! What a crock! And if thats the case whats to suggest this magical illness that has appeared to have struck down the entire team rendering their hand and foot skills almost useless isn't going to strike again the next time they play each other?

You lost, you didn't play well enough on the day. Save your hypotheticals for some other muppet.

Well I know it may come as a shock to you but not playing well enough may even be considered as an excuse.

what, so we can beat your mob again (im only goin on 2010 results, dont no much bout last season)... that wouldnt be much fun for you ;)

nah but seriously, we are were we belong... we've only played 3 games... im not involved with the c's, but from what i saw saturday and rnd 1, we'll be round the mark imo, but its certainly not going to be a cake walk... it will be a tight comp... remember ML said there going to smash us by a million goals the next time they play us, and if they can say that after the performance they put in last saturday then my money has to be on them  ....

Sorry, still no appearance from me.
Have a wedding in Loxton this weekend.
Played first game, tweaked a hammy.
Missed second game, didn't bother playing on the weekend (although I was runner).
May 12 - I'm back!
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

I promised the mrs I wouldn't play this week as we're headin overseas next week and didn't want me sore or injured after the amount of money we've put into it.

Unlike DW I can't sit back and watch easily. If coach needs me I might slip into the fwd pocket and sit at the back of the pack and try get some cheap ones ;)
