PONTING V SAMMY
The West Indian skipper made a remark of sorts at Ponting
Ponting said
"" Chris Gayle should be the WI Captain.""
Sammy said
"" Well this will be your last Test.""

THAT PERISCOPE SHOT
An earlier post of mine was confirmed in todays press that Dougggggggggie Walters made the periscope shot famous with his battles with that fiery EG fast bowler John Snnnnnnnnow
That was in the `1970/1971 series
Im sure Douggggie was out at least once possibly twice with the periscope
Can anyone confirm ????????????????????????????????????????????????????

THE MATCH
AU 328
WI 218
AU 259
WI 5/173

AT 3/155 WI had a sniff
Bravo then Chanderjackpotjimpaul out means its all over
WI need another 196 runs
This game should be all over at Lunch

Poor form by the ump though, he was completely disinterested in the shout.
Was hitting middle halfway up ffs, one of the plumbest dismissals would of been not out if Clarkey hadnt reviewed it

Why Lyon was taken off is beyond me. Sure give the new rock to one of the quicks but Lyon is the most likely to take a wicket. Get him back on now.

Clarke has done it again
Captain extraordinaire
This time he led from the front with his bowling
5/86[23]
The most innovative International skipper Ive ever seen

What now ?
I reckon Kevin Sheedy should make him captain of Greater Western Sydney

Being saying for ages he needs to bowl himself more often. Would rather see him and Warner bowling overs than crocks like Beer.
Clarke has always been a handy bowler, reckon if his back stays sound we will see a lot more overs from him

Another 7 wickets this match for Lyon, he really has been doing well, but i've been most impressed with his value batting at number 11! Providing handy runs down there!

Just dont think Sammy cuts it as a Test cricketer and nothing has changed that opinion during this series

Michael Clarke believes Matthew Wade could retain his Test spot even if Brad Haddin returns as Australia's wicketkeeper - by playing as a specialist batsman.

WTF does Haddin have over Clarke...why does he continue to say he is the test keeper..the next Test is in Nov
