hows MLFC points looking? must be damn close to 15?

shocking analogy BFG..im fining you for that! :)

Sure Riddler can tell us, but I think he was at Mawson lakes before he went to Athelstone via Tea Tree Gully back To Mawson Lakes. Depends did he play 25 games before he left, if not will be 2 points from Athelstone "A" grade.?

As far as the rule states I'm of the opinion he's worth 0 points due to him playing B Grade this season at TTG. Q is correct in that he played for us under the St Paul's banner but he fell just short of the 25 games to be worth zero under that rule. Don't think Athelstone last year matters as he played this year at another club.

Points are fine Zed I think we're only at about 7 this week. ;)

I think you will find that Mawson lakes received a letter this week from the SAAFL saying the Executive committee has decided that Mawson lakes doesn't have any ties with SPOS and cannot claim any old scholars from SPOS.
Bit hard to understand if u ask me.

Same rule for us with BPOS.

What do you mean by 'could'? They are now raging faves!

Was telling you blokes this all pre-season but noone would listen.

Anyone of 8 teams could win this league. First Woody South were raging favourites and now Mawson Lakes after a 24 point win and its only round 2! Injuries can change everything just look at Central United! Lets see how it sits after round 9 - we might get a better indication then.

Are you sure? I thought the jump between Div 7 to Div 6 was a big one?

It isn't if you can recruit 15-20 players ;)

15-20 players  Looked at their team sheet last week in the A grade and there were only 2 new names. Lees andsome other surname I couldn't pronounce. What side were you looking at? Although they might have a new recruit lined up to play Houghton next week. He's looking very forward to playing you blokes ;)

Mumford should only be worth 0 points, never witnessed a player drop his head when things aren't going his way as much as he does. Div 8 is more his level.

Well done to Q and the Houghton boys today totally outplayed Central United right across the ground and on every line.

I was very proud of the way our blokes faught the game out with the side we fronted with (made harder by 2 blokes phoneing at 10.30am saying there staying at the Foam party or what ever it is didnt help) really worked hard and the effort was very good.

At 3 1/4 time the boys were challenged to put in a last effort to be able to walk off with there heads held high and that they did. And before people blah blah blah your happy to lose by that much dribble dribble dribble of course were not happy to lose at all but our effort for the side we had was very good. As i said Houghton had the wind in the last all the momentum and could've really kicked away but we held them and they won the last by about 10points i think?

Things look brighter on the player front for Central United with the A grade getting 7 back this week just got to keep working hard and a win aint far away.

Forgot to mention Central United had 4 blokes play 2 games. (which you just cant do)

And Houghtons B grade umpire is head and shoulders by the length of the striaght the worst umpire i've ever witnessed in my life and i seen some serious cheats and shockers in my Paralowie days he is embarssing to what is otherwise a very good club with great people in it.

Unfortunately this is correct! We well and truly controlled the game for just over 3/4 but despite this we never put the game away when we had the chance, with 7.13 on the scoreboard at 3/4 time to about 4 goals. Had we kicked straighter the game would have and should have been done and dusted earlier. But to Mawson Lakes credit, they always believed they were a chance, got their tails up and started to run forward in numbers, which they could afford to start doing due to them getting on top of the clearances. Unfortunately we had no bench in the last quarter and with one of our tall defenders getting sent off in the last 10 mins meant we only had 17 fit men on the field. Obviously a devastating result from a coach's and team's point of view - as the first 3/4 is some of the best pressure footy I've seen us play in my time at the club and without our 2 key Zorich brothers not playing. If only there was an effective way to coach a person's head set! Congratulations to Riddler and Mawson Lakes. They have some quality players who now how to turn it on when the game is there for the taking. Things don't get any easier with a trip to Ledger Road this week. Tough Comp!

youre telling me tosser, this comp is very tough this year, i dare someone to pick a top 5 now! clg got out to a 20 point lead in the 2nd quarter and led by 9 at half time, lockleys had a great third quarter to lead by a couple of goals at 3/4 time, to our boys credit we hit back with the first 2 goals in the last to be level but the class players of lockleys slammed on 3 quick ones to kill the contest, good game with 2 good teams going at it.

Similar situation for CLG tosser - had no bench and a player sent off in the last quarter. Was a really tight game and with a bit of luck and not so many turnovers it could have gone either way. Well done to lockleys - the best team we've played so far. Got some really tough and skillful onballers. Thx for the drink vouchers too - every player from CLG stayed for a drink. Bloody tough comp!

Well, whatever you think of his performance, JB is no cheat. From what I saw your umpire was no better. Guess this is why they are umpiring D6 B-Grade.

Glad we got to play you with so many blokes missing. Will be much harder next time. Woody is a big in for your team next week, as well as the others. Thankfully there aren't raves in Adelaide next Friday either ;)
