Result only proves to show how much Centrals have also slipped back this year if they can only beat the Eagles by 1 goal with the Eagles in such terrible form.
It would now seem that the Centrals and Eagles decade has/is coming to an end.
Norwood v Glenelg in the G/F

With the extent of injuries to key players Central have at the moment, any win is meritorious. It must also be remembered that Central were six goals up halfway through the third quarter. Unfortunately, we went against team plans and got complacent later in the game.
Central have been in much worse positions in previous seasons and gone on to win the flag.
Cheers

Last chance this week? :o Could be if not for eveness of the competion, very interesting game as South should be very tough at night with their quick midfielders and tall key forwards to stretch an Eagles backline with no overly tall defenders! Day will need to pull his finger out big time this week an not be the total liability he has been this year!

Young Red nut Angy Poole ever going to get a run in the ones at the Eagles?

Hear good reports on him but is his size an issue?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Eagles rate Poole but just don't want to throw him in the deep end too soon or he could end up in over his head  . Very tough for a small, average paced player to make it these
days with Boyd, Caruso, Allan and Clayton the standard for this competition.
