McLoed & Motlop were very good. Not sure how they will go when McLoed doesn't play as his class was very evident

I would suggest McLeod is worth almost goals a game - saving and setting up. He is just as fit and has put on 8-9kg of muscle since his AFL days, and tears apart players that aren't up to his standard - that is everyone else.

Motlop and Elijah worth a few goals each, but no where near the impact of Bunji.

If they scrape into Finals, he will play and be influential - if they scrape into finals.

Is McLoeod Lining up agains't Mannum this week??

Yes, that's my mail anyway

When you see the helicopter land at Meningie on Saturday, don't expect A. McLeod to step out. Apparently 'Diddles' Harvey is getting sick of the drive and traffic from home, so Mannum have arranged an alternate means of transport for him.

not only do you sound like mr dalwood you even put harvey's nickname in speechmarks just as dalwood does for the standard. What is your issue with diddles? i've met him and he's a great bloke who doesn't seem to be anywhere near as tight as you claim him to be

Never said he was 'tight' that would be more suitable to our fence-jumping friend Hazel.

I'm starting to smell a rat anzac. Even better will be Dalwood arriving on Lake Albert aboard The Murray Valley Standard love boat. Look forward to seeing his play girl bunnys.
Expect to see a salivating dual between McLeod and Hall going head to head.

..and good to see Meningie have their website up and running. Looks well set up.

edit: I assume that isn't linked to Sporting Pulse. I hadn't noticed it before.

Overheard one new bears recruit quite seriously telling a small crowd that he expects not to lose another game, apparently last weeks opposition were poor...

Did anyone see the game, is there any substance to the bears confidence? Did they simply have the yips of a new team?

They can do all they like, long as the perimeter fencing is secure for our frugal friend Hazel.
Word has Hazel is also bringing some guests for the day and planning a Peter Falconio ambush on McLeod near the Ashville hall.

I saw the game last week. Mypolonga have improved from last year and will play finals football. I understand that there is a lot of excitement at Meningie but I reckon they are playing for 5th spot at best. They are always hard to beat at home but generally their depth finds them out against the top teams. I saw Motlop give the umpires a fair serve after the game and this type of leadership will not help his young team either.

I am packing a picnic basket and taking the kids down to watch tomorrow. McLeod v Harvey, this is what football is all about, two champions going head to head. One a Norm Smith medalist and three time best and fairest winner for his old club and the other a Mail medalist and three time best and fairest winner for his old club. You can not split these two apart. Harvey has dominated country football for a good 8-10 years while in the same time Mcleod has dominated the AFL. All in all forget about their magnificent individual acheivements I will backing Mannun cause I think Harvey brings a little more to the table than McLeod can. Expect a huge crowd cause seeing two of footballs greatest up against each other is the sort of contests that brings in the crowd.

=)) =)) Poor enough to get the win, with Meningies strongest line up, as Mcloed wont play every game & he was huge in that contest. Without him it would have been a much bigger margin!
