Agreed. It borders on ridiculous. Why not spray some fake dirt on it too and some fake stitching around the sponsors emblem and numbers.

Why not frame the question properly and ask, who has the best looking guernsey?; Glenelg/Richmond, Westies/Essendon, Centrals/Footscray, South/Carlton...

Surely the question should be about uniqueness, in which case Port Adelaide is among the best.

I actually agree 8-[ and have long thought that having paid quaint homage' to a bygone era, the fake laces should now be gone. The 2007 Heritage guernsey hanging in the club looks so much cleaner in it's appearance.

That said, I think Sturt hang on to the fake laces too.

I like the fact that Port prison bars are unique in that you see alot of teams with the Collingwood style stripes but not the Port prison bar style.

Same with the Central guersey many variations of the red, white and blue horizontals but none exactly the same as Central that i can think of, could be wrong.

Eags' jumper when they won the flag in '93 was great I reckon.

How many footy clubs are there? Hard to get a gurnsey that is unique without it being so bad nobody else would want to copy it.

I am however glad that Centrals isn't just a copy of the Western Bulldogs. Nothing worse than having the same colours, logo, song AND guernsey as a bigger club.

Like the Centrals guernsey, far better than some of their other efforts down the years.
That white one from their early era was a shocker

I agree aswell, it looks stupid.

I love wearing the black and white prison bars though, nothing beats them.

I think that there are a couple of differences between Glenelg and Richmond. Glenelg are black and gold, Richmond black and yellow/ Also Glenelg's sash is only on the front of the guensey, I know that Richmond's used to go around the back as well.

The two clubs could perhaps enter into a joint venture and print some t-shirts.

"Blessed with success" on the front and "Show no mercy" on the back?
