Here are some positional changes I'd like to see. Raymond to Full Forward. Grocke out further to CHF. Cica more time in the forward pocket. Grieger back to FB. Staple to a back pocket. Lewis out to a wing and McKenzie full time in the middle.

Hopefully we'll get Parry back for ANZAC Day and perhaps Knights and Redden too?

I fear this will be a thrashing. Don't think Central will take their foot off the pedal.

I'm dearly hoping this will be the miracle win needed to kick start our season but given the way things have been going, our injury issues and the short turn around between matches. I struggle to see how we can possibly kick a winning score let alone be competitive. I think we'll be going really well to keep the margin within 10 goals.

Part of cost cutting, I would think?

I've heard big Paz won't be back until the game against South. I wouldn't think that the Power would release Redden to play as I would expect him to play in the Showdown.

Young Jake Fairclough will miss this game with a concussion, Robert Eddy could be a possible inclusion. Perhaps Peter Lindsay could be called up to play his first league game for the club. Maybe it's time to expose young Harding to some league action as we're needing another target up forward.

Agreed with Grocke we need him up the ground more so as he can get into the action. I'd love to see Macca play in the middle but with Giuffreda missing we need him down back.

In previous years, a match against Centrals has generally brought about an improved performance from the Eagles than in games they have played in the weeks prior. If ever there is a time that the Eagles need a match against Centrals to bring out a better performance, it is this week. I figure if there is something extra to motivate us then that can't be bad - worst case is we'll get slaughtered, but that will be no different to what has happened in the first four games.

Eagles to put on a much improved display, for at least half of the match .. But the masters will wear them down and overrun them.

Would think Chris Gowans and 1 other would come out the side. Maybe Symes with all the doubt over a few Crows players i would be very surprised if they have 100% ruled im out to play the Showdown especially considering he was 1st emergency last week.

I don't think Chris will be rested from the side, considering the Dogs have the bye next week and will have an 18 day rest before their next game against Glenelg. I think this will be one of the rare games this season where both Chris and James Gowans play in the same side, prior to finals - should Central qualify.

Yeah but is it physically possible for Chris at 34(?) to have recovered from a tough slog in the wet within 4 days, especially considering another wet game is expected.

The Glenelg game is a mute point if he hasnt recovered from saturdays game.
