The Maggies televised 3 weeks in a row eh? Looking at the fixturing the ABC aren't left with too many other Saturday afternoon games to consider and I wonder if this will become more ammunition for them when they decide whether or not to pull the pin?

As long as there is one on Saturday afternoon, what does it matter?

Correct. Although I have been told that after next year there will be no more ABC coverage of any state league football.

I reckon they would prefer to mix it up a bit that's all. When they sit down to negotiate next time around I'm sure they will realise that their choice of matches to broadcast is getting smaller and smaller. And surely that won't help with viewing figures...

Well Port having a higher than average supporter base should result in better ratings.

Supporters from clubs that want night games can't really complain that they aren't getting enough television time.

Central have changed that game against Sturt from a night game to a day game, Sam, but I can't see why LifeFM wouldn't still be calling that game.
