no point worrying about the clock if you can't keep the light towers on ...

one thing is for sure though, South are not the first club to have problems with their lights, and you know what ,they wont be the last either... :o

anyway ,perhaps we could reschedule all our games to Glenelg, we seem to be making a habit of winning there...

Or at under 18 level the remaining 3 quarters should be played mid week.

Glenelg under no circumstances deserved to be penalised from this.

Defy the laws of the game for an 18s match?

Perhaps I've missed something (rule, technicality, whatever) but I wonder if the League has ruled out doing just that - unless they're combing the rules for other parameters.

Light failure happened at 1/4 time apparently.

Listening to what Chris Kendall was saying half time of South v Port, there "is still no decision reached" by the League on this matter.

Interesting.

The light failure happened during the U16s match actually, and plenty of time for reps from both teams to discuss whether to start the U18s match or not.

I heard the Coaches agreed to play the first qtr of 18s match seeing as both teams were taped and ready to play. Thoughts were the kids would get a run for at least 1 qtr, understanding that by then it would be too dark to safely continue
