Brad Mercer also kicked 4 yesterday playing for Maggies reserves.
Well that makes a lot more sense.... He's a northern suburbs boy as well. I assume he played juniors at GG?

According to sportingpulse Para Hills were goal less in the first quarter and the Dragons were goal less for the entire 2nd half

I know someone who watched the first half and left because the skills were terrible from both sides - he decided to go and watch a soccer game

I also only saw the first half. Greenies showed some real promise in the first quarter but PH looked like they were asleep. Both sides had that distinct "lack of preseason" look about them... Interestingly I heard that Greenies struggled to get a B Grade together and Para Hills got over the line easy?

The B grade boys got us off to the ideal start with a sketchy 6 goal win. Salisbury West out-played us I thought for most of the day except a patch in the second half but their lack of a big key forward let the good work of their back 6 and mids down. A good win for our B's considering we didn't play at our best.
In the late game our A grade boys got their first win for 2012 in a hard fought game against an under-sized, young Salisbury West side. As their B's did they played their ground well, used good skills and switched the play well and their straight kicking kept them in the game. We had a good size difference over them in ruck and up forward and this helped us get over the line and gave our boys alot of confidence. Had we kicked a bit straighter we could have put the game away earlier and 2 late goals before half time kept them in it. Salisbury West will win more than they lose this year and for a small side really had a crack.

Jets very persistent to get over the line in an even contest. Jets could get some momentum with some key ins over the next couple of weeks. There, 5 sentence match report, just for you Fred. (Oh yeah, one umpire had a match he would rather forget)
