Agreed, just a big lug really, no skills as far as i have seen. Not a first ruck of choice i wouldn't think. and what about his head, shocking.

As I am not predominantly a GAZA supporter I probably cannot comment overly about this, I was interested as he was a new ruckman on the scene and seemed to attract an fair amount of medal votes for a bloke that lacked the 'class' of a Div 1 footballer. Maybe the votes were due to the unfortunate looking head? Or maybe the vocal obnoxiousness from his personal cheer squad! Anyone who caught some GAZA home games would know the crowd I'm talking about!

Has a fairly decent jump on him in the centre, not that much else! Probably attracted a bit of attention as he was selected in the U/23 team. Don't think you'd find many U/23 ruckmen his size (you normally find the big strong ruckmen are in their mid to late 20's early 30's), so selectors probably went with the big smash ruckman in Jack and skinny agile ruckman in Tyrell. Interesting to see how Tyrell goes out with the Redlegs, unless he has bulked up a fair bit, you'd think he'd get a bit battered against the bigger stronger SANFL ruckmen! Might be a handful around the ground though with his mobility and leap.

Agreed, no the most pleasant atmosphere if you are caught near the mob at Gaza or if they venture out of the cave to other grounds. On other matters, Gepps beating Goodwood really the only surprise this round. Edwardstown look like being in a bit of trouble, i wouldn't rate Broadview a 15 goal better team than them.

Is Jack Kappelle still getting a game in the A's for Gaza or has he been dropped to the B's?

TTG have started really well. Anyone know if they have picked up many new players from last year or is it Broadview and Henley arent travelling that well at the moment. Hard to pick winners at the moment with Gepps X win over Goodies a big suprise along with TTG demolition of Henley. Could be a long year for Townies

Not really. Uni have lost many players from last year and yet were still 4 goals up against Salisbury North early in last Q but ran out of legs

Word is that mitton is getting good wraps at Townies but just have not got the cattle!! When Burgess can kick 6 against you, you are in some trouble!!

Certainly from my observations of the last two weeks are that Broadview will be fine, not sure if TTG just surprised them with their run. Henley however were very disappointing, in attitude and skill. I don't think TTG will finish top 3, but I think finals are a realistic option. The three recruits are playing well, mainly led by Wicks, but as mentioned previously, the strength is their young core of running brigade that have now had 5 or so years of playing together.

Still to early to say who or what teams are going to be the front runners. It does seem like TTG and Gaza have started well but remember only two rounds have been played so far. Never discount Uni as they always seem to be in the top 8 teams yeaqr after year.

Uni lost about 60% of last year's senior squad through retirement, jobs overseas and interstate plus some transfers outs to country etc. The start of the year is always a little slow for uni due to the amount of new people in their sides.

Just to add to the excuses, it has been uni holidays the past two weeks which always mean a few players go missing.

Why Is that down and out? I think any player that can kick 6 goals in A1 is not doing it by fluke??

Pretty close to the mark with the tips although I think Malleebull's prediction of Mark Weavers dream start coming to an end is spot on.
