Whats a joke? Not chris' fault what they write in the local budget. played a bit better got tagged on the wing yesterday. not the best day for a tall running wingman.

one of rosies no. 34 a loose cannon, all he wanted to do was belt blokes.

Great afternoon for fitzroy, started off into the breeze with a good qtr and leading but let havens back in through the second and third qtr and had a up hill task and a good chance to give belief moving forward that we can use our fitness to come back from 4 goals down and win. The boys played hard tough footy and never gave up dominating the qtr and running out winners.

All credit to both sides as the game was played in good spirits all day and a special mention to North Haven management for putting on beers for all the fitzroy A grade players after the game. All Fitzroy players, coaches and staff went back in to have a beer with the havens boys.

Havens are a great side and will click very soon for their first win.

Fitzroy were a good side yesterday and it was a well fought game. Haven't have given 2 wins away in the lat 10 minutes of footy. Having said that they are moving the ball very differently this year and once things gel, it think they'll will reap the fruits of their labour. 4 new players in their bests is a great sign. A ruckman makes and breaks a team at times. Eagles has left a gaping chink in havens armor. Well done Roys, I think that win was a real direction shift!

A lot tougher obviously. Can't break tackles like they can in the 18's. All 3 enjoyed it though. The other 2 x U18 lads who also played on Saturday, played a couple of senior games late last year so knew what to expect and helped the other lads out with some advice
