Peake cop a fair whack on here ( I to have picked them to finish bottom) but with a small town with 3 parts of f@#k all in it they do a remarkable job of putting 4 football sides and about 5 netball teams out each week so good on them for picking up another player they all help.

The club itself has had huge success off-field with it being a great enviroment to be in as i'm sure most opposition clubs will agree with but with this being said the case has been for 100 years and will continue to be you get judged on A grade success and unfortuintly for Peake there has been very little of this in recent years although there have been many a premership in netball, Junior and B grade football I'm still yet to hear an A grade footballer who is looking at being recruited by a club asked how the B grade went or the netball its all about the A grade
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Good post Carey. Thats what makes the recruiting of Feltus really confusing. It is a great country footy club who are taking a massive risk on a player who has the potential to cause major issues not only for the club but also the league. I hope for both Peake and Feltus that I am wrong.

What do we know about these blokes Jimmy ? From what ive heard they will be very handy . Is it correct Bailey has played league footy at West ? Heard couple the others are backs. One around the 6-4 mark and i was told that one was a first choice fullback. Id imagine some of the forwards are in for a tough time considering how well greenslade played last year and he was battling to play consistantly in the 1's at PAC

Bailey played for Glenelg but only seconds as far as I know. Should play in the centre.
Noblett is a key position player ala Chris Edmonds but not as heavy - should play CHB or FB. Hard unit.
Fry will kick you 4 goals a game from HFF but can also play on the ball.
Rees is very fit and can play anywhere, but probably on the ball or in the centre up there.
Nobby is probably only 6'3" though, whereas the others are around 5-11 to 6'.

These guys are probably +20% on Greenslade

All good guys off the field as well

Sorry - forgot Todd Jones 6'4" tough and first choice full back

I don't recall saying he can't play, it was more to do with the fact he has had a lot of issues in the past with suspensions etc. He has also been known to threaten umpires after games. Could work for Peake or he could cause plenty of friction in the club

Think you will find they were his predictions Jimmy.
Lameroo did win by about 8 goals. Few people said Murrayville just needed to gel a bit, will be better for the hitout.
BDT won by less than we all thought, but they were missing quality players
Pies dominated against Pinnaroo, but burnt the ball in the first half with Pinnaroo scoring 4 or 5 goals directly from turnovers. Ryan Nicholls close to best on ground. Marked everything. Can't believe was only named 3rd best for his team?????? J. Graetz dominant from half back for the pies. Good luck to sunyl Vogt and his hamstring. Pinnaroo much improved and very competitive, but might struggle for a couple weeks with 2 of their best out through injury
