Ponting needs another 32 runs to overtake Dravid as the 2nd leading test run scorer, and they would have both played 164 tests

I believe the pitch for next test will offer a bit more for the quicks, would much rather another quick sent over

Am Bays you have picked out a few fast bowlers from different countries in different eras
Ive listed 5 Australian fast bowlers in the same era at the same time, and all have been injured recently
Ive not even listed WATTO who also suffers from cripplitis as well

The Sleeping Giant has asked
Are Australias fast bowlers the most fragile in history ?
Absolutely
The evidence right here and now at present time vindicates The Sleeping Giant post

They should have more match-simulated training regimes, I heard Warnie mention that they bowl for half an hour stints at practice once or twice a day.
I think they should bowl half a dozen balls on the trot then have 4 minutes rest and repeat the process an hour or so later. It's like their "match-conditioning" isn't up to scratch, they all appear as fit as mallee bulls but we do break down far too often.

Early in 2010-11 season there were 30 first class cricketers signed to the 6 states and CA who were injured.

22 were fast bowlers. I think that means it's better now, but still not great.
