Very annoyed that I'm missing this game as my son is playing for the Crows in the half time little league match, despite him not going on till about 6pm we have to be there at 2.40pm and sit through a half of Crows v GWS. Grrrrrrr!

Cornesy just said on AA that Redden was being 'rested' so my not play for the Eagles - not named for them at this stage.

Lindsay has a heap of pace

He did get 30 possies and 2 goals Mickyj! Not the worst out there by any means. Still short of his best though - seems to have lost his zip.

How generous of the AFL to release Toumpas to us this week.

Yes yes, we all know. Violins anyone?
It's round 3 FFS.

Out of that list only Powell, Parry and Eddy are the players who are of league standard. We should not be blaming injuries for where we are at the moment. Poor recruiting, and senior players playing ordinary are the main reasons.

I'd say the loss of Wright for North balances out our loss of Knights.

Has anyone seen how Ellis-Yolmen and Joyce have played this year in the reserves? I haven't seen their names in the best players in any of the games this year. I'd hate to think we are picking them purely because they are on the Crows list. They need to earn their spot.

Only 17 of the 30 possessions were effective though. For an AFL listed player this simply isn't good enough.

Granted, past performances should not guarantee future games, but being a bit hard of Knights I reckon.
Been pretty good for us over the years, coming from Victoria and being mini-drafted to us.
