North used to flood for a couple of years, but we fixed that problem about 18 months ago.

Heck, my mob invented the flood in the SANFL.

On that note... where is Brenton Honor these days anyway?

Yes, they were the days ... employ an uber-flood to lose by 10 goals instead of 15.

The big difference is that Collins employs the flood in the pretence that it will win games.

To WHUFC interesting to think that you dont think your side puts numbers behind the ball. I was at the West v Central game and I saw at least half a dozen times, when we had the ball in the middle of the ground, going forward, every Central player was forward of centre.........

Every club puts numbers behind the ball at times during a game. It's an unfortunate reality of our game. Anybody who thinks their club doesn't do it is living in denial. Unfortunately West do it more than others.

and there's the rub ... it is the main staple of West's game plan whilst other teams only do it occasionally when the situation presents itself to do so.

Friday nights game was one to "move on from quickly". North were lucky in the end and the better of two bad teams on the night. Happy to take the points given our previous 5 quarters of football but it was horribly frustrating to watch. The amount of turnovers from dumb decisions by players on both sides and many quite senior including Jimmy Allan was indicitive of the whole game. North players need to stop always looking for Allan at the expense of a better option often as they put him and other subseqently other players in the chain under pressure by him being option A all the time.

The true test of how North is or will travel for the remainder of the season will be this week's game against an out of form Eagles side. If North wants any creditability inthe comp then it needs to win well this week, if not then we will deserve bottom or next to bottom ranking.

The main lowlight on the night however was the disgraceful behaviour of the West past player and officials. If you are going to hang shit on opposition supporters all night then be prepared to cop it back - especially after making "tools" of yourselves banging the the glass and flipping the bird when you hit the front in the last quarter then being sore losers and trying to pick fights at the end of the game. One past player who is the VP of that Group was lucky he didn't get his dial wiped!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Sunday's Norwood v Port contest took that mantle, IMO.

Couldn't agree more and really should be made to upgrade it if they want to host night games.

Lights were fine and just need a bit of adjustment or the broken ones replaced. It was much better than Elizabeth or what Norwood used to be like.
If a radio commentator said that was a good game of football he should resign/retire immediately as he is truly clueless.

I think said commentator made comment that the 2nd half of that game was good.

The South v Sturt game on Good Friday wasn't the greatest game of the year HP, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

We haven't really had an absolute corker of a game as yet in season 2012 but there have been some good moments in games.
