I'd be surprised to be considered favourites against such a strong outfit Hoody. Like to think we can give it a good crack though.

I'm very much looking forward to facing Glenunga this weekend, can't wait to get out there and it should be a great challenge for us. It'll be great to have a good look at Glenunga, I don't know too much about them and Saturday should obviously reveal alot. It'll be good to see how Heath Nurton goes for Glenunga if he fronts up, as his brother Christian plays for us (not sure what he's doing though) and also he's well known by a fair few of our boys.

Looking forward to it too DK. Dunno if "Murta" playing though, was injured in trial against Mawsons and didn't play against Pooraka. Got a few other keys sporting injuries too, see how the next few days pan out. Sucks considering no real games even played yet!!
Having said that, we will have 21 blokes ready to have a crack just the same as Havens, and scores start nil all

Massive test round 1, see how we measure up for the season taking on Lutheran at home, seems people have written us off so guess we go into this one as underdogs. Noticed someone tipped Lutheran by 90 odd....have they improved that much???

I think a few of the Havens boys are quietly confident going into round 1 with one of the strongest teams they have had in last few years

They have no interest in over confidence, but rather all players all working for each other to get to the same place. The lads looked full of belief and enthusiasm tonight. By no means are they getting ahead of themselves
