This is it.. The time has come...
After receiving their 2nd lifeline to avoid relegation, Ingle Farm know there are no more chances. Desperate to turn their fortunes around, the Bulldogs appointed Wayne Knowles the new coach assigned with the task of restoring pride and respect to Rowe Park. Surrounding himself with a loyal and committed coaching staff, Knowles has been aggressive in recruiting players and putting the lads through their paces in an intense pre-season as he looks to drag the club out of the doldrums.
The Farmers have added much needed size around the ground through the likes of Skelton to compliment Gannell, Sandercock & Sanderson and appear to have a good mix of youth and experience. Marsden up forward is sure to create plenty of headaches for defenders this year. Adelaide Uni on the other hand is a bit of an unknown. Who will play in their side? School holidays on at the moment, may prove costly for the ‘Blacks’, they may well be depleted, but one thing is for sure, they will be fit and well drilled as always.
With Division 6 looking to be arguably the strongest and tightly contested in history, neither side can afford to fall behind the 8 ball so early in the season. This will be the first home game Ingle Farm have had since their memorable premiership year of 2005, a healthy crowd of the Farmer faithful are expected to come check out the hype of the new look squad. This game is set up perfectly like a Disney feel good movie and it all signs point to the Bulldogs as they hope to embark on the dawning of a new era. Ingle Farm by 17-30 points. ;)

Want me to write about Houghton?

We are Houghton.. the forgotten stalwart of Division 6.. After an intense pre-season getting around Liam Davis at the pub, and losing a few players to Mawson Lakes, we are once again prepared to embark on another uneventfull season filled with disappointment after we once again realise that we are too big and too unfit to play away from home...

You don't think it will?
Central United, Mawson Lakes & Ingle Farm recruited well, Houghton always strong at home, BOS, CLG & TOS always fit, well drilled and around the mark, Lockleys and Woodville South coming down from Div 5 and Adelaide Uni always competitive..

A game may not have been played, but definately the makings of a rip snorter season...
