Heard that South Augusta only kicked two goal against Kimba on Saturday.

I know they lost by 10 goals. Had a heap of players out due to basketball gf. It's a month away from round one I woundn't read to much in to it if they scored 2 goals only, but I guess it's not ideal. You don't premierships in march.

Thought it was you who broke the "hot off the press" news about the coaching changes at Jamestown Sky Pilot. Not overly accurate it would seem.

Guess Haydn Cox will slot back into Sollies A grade? Saw he was cleared from Lucindale down here back to the SGL, assume back to Sollies where he was a pretty handy footballer for his age. Reckon he played a couple of A grade games here which would have given him a good experience in such a strong team in a strong league.

I think T George may have signed a contract with Lions which may cause diificulties for him in his attempts to play for Broughton-Mundoora.

I see Modbury's David Walker initially sought to be cleared to Ports but is now training with Lions. Handy player.

As for Dinale, I think that is a job for the NCIS investiGATORS

Might not be worth keeping someone who clearly wants to get out...could be bad for the team if someone is not 100% commited.

D.Walker has done a 'dean steele' which involves training with every club in town before going to the Lions

Gibbs and Dinozzo are on the case!

OK here are some bold premature season predictions......
A season dominant South to win the first of mutiple flags from a gallant Port outfit. Sollies on the rise to finish third. Close tussle for fourth.(West always competitive and spending up again and Centrals still have a good team but Im hearing doubters ). Lions to struggle early but show improvement and work towards 2013.
Clayton Millard (Big raps and someone from Sollies normally wins it!!) and Jacob Neary (Stiff last year) to tie in the medal from Matt Woolford.
Ryan Morris to win goalkicking (Good consistent player and not much opposition really). Hayden Warren and Bradley Amos could be smokies if fit and able to play most games.

Anyone else prepared to give it a go?

Ports should be around the mark again.
Sollies will improve if the new recruits can gel

Lions should win games but maybe fall just short of the 4

U will need to b rite bout Millard with Price gone he has some big boots to fill. I think Woolford will win the medal. As for leading gk if this ff Sollies have recruited is a good as they say he will win it hands down.

I'm tipping:
South v Port Grand Final (Final ladder: South, Port, Sollies, Central, West, Lions).
Jacob Neary to win the Madigan from Woolford, with dark horse big Al Margitich if he can keep fit and not miss too many games through work.
Scott McIntyre to pip Ryan Morris for the goalkicking award.

Side tips to beef up your multi:
Lions v Port B Grade Grand Final.
Sollies back to back thirds flags.
