I'm sure Melbourne think the same way about Thompson.

I'm sure Hawthorn think the same way about Darren Jarman and Matthew Robran....

Exactly.

Today proves to me the Hawks cant play intense footy.

Franklin x 2 and Roughead x 1 in the last quarter cost the Hawks the game IMO. They wouldn't dribble it along the ground from a set shot so why do it on the run, with slippery ground and slippery ball, couldn't believe I saw it the first time but then twice more.
Watched most of the game today and reminded me alot of the Prelim against Collingwood last year, should have put them away and played in the Grand Final but didn't / couldn't and great teams find a way.
Trust the process.

Geelong won the first ever Geelong v Hawthorn Grand Final way back in 1963. 2-1 my Hawker friend.

I'm willing to accept the bitch tag. We choked again in the final quarter kicking 0.5 to 4.1. Eerily similar to late last year.

If I see any of our 'super' forwards try and dribble another goal this year I'll cry.

Hopefully see a couple of changes before we hit the froot loops. Best part of the game was that the Rough got through. Pity he couldnt snatch that last grab, but it wasnt meant to be.

My theory still holds true- if we dont kick 100 points against the cats we wont win- our defense is too fragile in a frantic finish..

Give it up D.O.O.L....

Whitecross got one week for the hit on Selwood. It looked fairly incidental to me??

I'm guessing the Geelong medical report went against Whitecross. Pavlich had no case to answer, and it was mainly due to the Sydney medical report on Malceski.

I wish he got off too, but as soon as you saw the reverse angle it was obvious he was going to get offered a game or two.
Reverse angle shows him drop the shoulder at the last minute (I believe to protect himself, but like that counts these days).
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
