Yes. Sports bet.com.au is the best option just sign up through the banner on our home page and you get some great bonuses. Sometimes games aren't up till later in the week.

Eagles will put up a much better performance, supporters would like to hope. However, the hunger and chemistry definitely seems to be lacking early on this year. Coaching staff will need to have a serious look if they start the year worse than 0-2 (in which it looks like they will be!).

Eagles have picked Charlie Rae from Smosh for his first game, Great to see him get his opportunity. Good luck to him and the Eagles!!

Bock at Full-Forward?....hang on I better just check that again......you can't be serious. GET HIM OUT OF THE TEAM

On the plus side I think moving Fairclough into the team is a good move. From the matches he played last year I thought he always gave 110% in intensity and effort and will help keep the ball in out forward line.

What is wrong with Toumpas and Eddy? I don't think they are playing reserves.

Toumpas overseas with AIS team. Eddy in hosp[tal with blood poisoning from an infected gash.
Would think Rae would start at fullforward.

Good to see Rowntree back. Should give us a bit more bite and spread at the stoppages. Will be interesting to see how Rae goes. We really need another forward. Could he pinch hit in ruck?

Agree re the naming of Bock at Full Forward being a bit of a surprise. His attack on the contest at half forward early in that Port game when he spilled the mark and the ball immediately went down for a Port goal was deplorable. If he gets another chance on Saturday he really needs to stand up.

How tall is Rae? I've never heard of him but I'm guessing he went ok in the reserves last week?

I would have thought Fitzgerald has been named on the bench for the possibility of playing him at FF. I think he might have played 1-2 games last year before getting injured in that deplorable night game against Sturt. I actually thought he looked good in that position. Only light but at least that frees up Grocke to play CHF which is important because we are struggling to get the ball into our 50m zone. Staple is more of a flanker IMO.

Not sure that Rowntree brings speed to the contest. Mainly grunt and ball-winning ability so would be a handy replacement for Cicca. Is Sumner in form? I don't recall him in the best players in the reserves and have heard little about him over the trial games either.

I would expect from the 23 that have been named that Fitzgerald and Joyce will be the 2 to miss out

He isn't naturally quick but his running to spread from the contest is as good as we've got IMO. The main area he needs to improve is his kicking - especially to inside 50.

Couple of big outs for the Eags.
Hoping Renouf comes in and adds a bit of mongrel in the ruck
