Mallala vs Loxton tomorrow. What can the Mallala boys expect this weekend? Always great to play against a different opponent.

went over to loxton north for a while on saturday - excellent game of footy. Loxton North have a very quick midfield and won most stoppages but Athelstone had big strong bodies and seemed to play a very structured game style. Matt Leigh was very good for Athelstone and so was big Evan Pontt. I think Jonte Bates got hurt though. Overheard someone say Athelstone just won.

Paringa lost to Moonta B grade by 28 points.
Had about 10 blokes out.
Heard the Moonta boys put on a good night for the lads over there too.

Don't worry, he'll sign a clearance and a week later he'll play somewhere else ;)

Waikerie
Loxton North
Barmera
Berri
Renmark
Loxton

To me, there is a big gap between the top two teams and the other four this season. Have Barmera in third, but do think they will struggle. Berri to me will be similar to last year. Renmark again have a lot of Ins but at the same time a lot of Outs. Loxton I can't see having a lot of depth and will rely on their 10-12 gun players like last season. Waikerie have recruited heavily as usual and I think will go all the way this season. North will have a very small running side with Pickles being a huge loss and I think they will struggle with other teams height advantages.
