We haven't picked anyone up. Lost 27 first choice players. We'll be lucky to get within ten goals of anyone.

Before anyone gets on here and attacks AR it should be said he is a brilliant footballer when he is focused and it takes 2 to tango in any situation.

Well, we want details on Thursday night then WW.

Massive pickup for SMOSH when Ryan Bowman gets cleared from Henley. Former D1R medallist, and very fit and strong from work.

From all accounts and there has been some fairly mixed reactions from me posting the above :( heres what seems to be consistent in all versions...
The incident/altercation took place between Adam Rowett and Paul "Chachi" Lowe and was very much in the mould of the Trengrove/Schultz or Sentanta/Cloke in the fact that there was a trg drill scrap during competitive work but was very minimal with a bit of wrestling and no punches thrown but was settled quicker than a hiccup. No big deal there
Unfortunately Lowey may have made a couple of comments regarding an earlier altercation between the pair that occured on a tennis court which had a snowball effect and facilitated another little post trg flair up in the car park. It was at this time that their long history and friendship meant that there was a fair bit of personall ammunition flayed in each direction. From all accounts it ended up being quite humorous to those who witnessed it albeit a little worrying to see 2 key players having a go at each other. Fair to say without the physical impact of say their coach had he have been involved. A couple of lets call them punches wouldnt have broken the skin off the top of a pudding
My sources tell me the Lowey barb that caused the biggest chuckle was "Your F#@%ed rowett when Bieber wants his fringe back!" and Rowett retort of "the torn bookmark in year 7 was no accident b#tch" was also hilarious to everyone except the 2 involved. There was no king hits and it never got truly out of hand and i cant imagine too much will come of it...The bookmark is the only real loser in this one ;) .
My opinion is that are 5 months of gruelling pre-season i think the 2 guys like so many others are keen for April 14th to roll around so we can all do what we love 8)

hahaha well i wish that i could have been there to see this as by all accounts ladies man lowe has hit the gym and has the neck of a ufc heavyweight, i am sure whatever was said and done is all a joke by now. rumour has it they also had a blue at the houghton fc captains house with brother liam watching during a personal pre season training session due to Lowey running his mouth about roweys fitness. Seems rowey might be getting a little sensative these days.
Either way i am glad it wasnt as serious as originally assumed and Rowett is not in any trouble with the club. These boys arent really rated amongst anyone that doesnt know them but they have both won best and fairest in A gradee teams.

Sounds like Lowey and Rowey put on a bit of a showey......
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Watched a few mates at the Morphettville park Pnu game this afternoon, good hit out by two solid sides, reckon both wil be pushing for finals in each respective league. Question must be asked about the Pnu runner, who cost them the game in the final few seconds when he encroached in the kickout and gave MP a goal to win the game! Don't know who that runner was but shame on him

Went down and had a look at the smosh vs seaton game friday night, magnificent night for footy. Was very impressed with smosh they moved the ball very well, good structures and very disciplined. Seaton ok in patches but were touched up quite easily. Any smosh or seaton people with any thoughts on the game or players missing. Would think Smosh look like the team to beat in this division this year.

u must have watched the B grade. B grade won very easy. But the A grade was a good game. Seaton had a few missing and marshall got a leave pass from his retirement home. Smosh won by about 5 goals and looked to be close to the best side possible.

It probably wasn't far away NM. We've had a few injuries early with 3 blokes unluckily going down with ACLs which is devastating considering how hard those 3 lads had worked, but apart from those 3, and another 2-3 out with other ailments/cricket commitments we were at full tilt having a look at the team-sheet.

From all accounts Seaton had plenty missing, so i dare say there's plenty of improvement in them.
