Looks like if Josh doesn't cut it in the AFL he might be sticking around in Adelaide....

He's been great for us so far, good passion and determination from him.

He's played in 3 trial games for Sturt and 17 games for Bendigo? WTF?
Very credible source, I bet the whole VFL is taking notice

How many games is the qualifying period in order to express a view?

His initial impression is that the true club environment of the SANFL is superior to the heavily compromised VFL system.
It's not hard to understand where he's coming from.

Exactly, in the VFL it is very much us versus them mentality. The non AFL listed blokes are the first to get shafted and many of them leave the system because of it.

In the SANFL the AFL players are essentially on loan for the day. AFL coaches still have some input to their player on match days.

Just on the AFL coaches I heard that one ruck coach took both his AFL ruckman and the SANFL ruckman aside to offer advice during a recent trial game

I'd say Jenkin's credibility outweighs nearly everything ol has ever posted here ;)

Playing in both comps has given him more insight than any of us on the other side of the fence IMO.

I thought a similar thing happened at Norwood (?) a couple of years back during a the break of a league game. For memory it wasn't exactly consensual.

Well it was a trial game so maybe they didn't care so much?

from what I can see for the crows Jonas and co either grab their player for a few moments before the team huddles or just after. Then allow them to participate in the team debrief. No doubt a lengthy talk would occur during the week
