Rnd 2 - Sturt v Port @ Unley (Sat 31/3)

Postby Wedgie » Mon Mar 26, 2012 6:13 pm

Port are looking the goods early after an impressive win against last year's premiers in Round 1 but Sturt had a good trial win against Norwood last week?
I'm tipping Port by plenty.

Sturt in a close one.

Should have a pretty handy side with Jenkins, Kerridge, Tambling, MacIntyre etc

Two relatively even match ups, I think it may be closer than some are predicting.

Sturt side looks very handy on paper, but will be tough for the AFL players so come into a group that has been together all summer.

Only Jaensch hasn't played in a trial for Sturt, most AFL players from that lineup have played 2 or more trials with Sturt.

Really hope our boys aren't getting ahead of themselves.
Hard tackling, hard running and we will be a good show, but that's a good looking Sturt side IMO.
50/50 game.
